Is it possible to enrol in two courses at the same time? I received a usyd dent offer last round and enrolled, and now I have a griffith med offer (via UAC) which says I have to enrol within 6 days. Not sure which one to go for ://

You can enrol in two courses at once, but you will have to unenrol from one before the census date. But I would advise that if 6 days should be enough time to make a decision about which one is for you. Congratulations on both offers btw, very nice job!!

So the conundrum continues...

A question was posted at 3.05am today indicating the UNSW offer was for bonded. The post time means it came from the UAC email i.e. UAC knows unbonded/bonded in advance before releasing. It was why I suggested UAC could have helped by letting us potentially choose unbonded B over bonded A before the release (instead of forcing us into bonded A).

But UAC was too thick to recognise the situation to help; that's the kindest I can say.

If I received a Flinders offer (2nd preference) and not Adelaide (1st preference) does that mean I failed to meet the requirements for Adelaide? Monash is still my first preference overall (I live in Melbourne) but if this is the case I’d be quite disappointed and less confident because I thought my Adelaide interview went well, better than my WSU one at least (for which I did get an offer).

For additional context, I got a 99.95 ATAR and 96% UCAT, and my friend who also got 99.95 and 98% UCAT is in the exact same situation as me. Does SATAC work differently in that you can receive two offers in the one round or do we both just suck really bad at interviews?

Two 99.90 + 99%iles I know didn't make it into Adelaide either (but got Flinders) - weighting on the interview seems to be extremely emphasised this year.

99.95 UES and 97%ile from Vic, got second pref Flinders

I am confused - are you saying that PMQ is your top preference but ONLY if it’s unbonded, and that you’d prefer to go to JMP with a bonded place over PMQ with a bonded place? I’m not sure why being bonded changes your University/location preference - could you elaborate please?

I got 99.95 ATAR and 92% UCAT and only got Flinders as well. I swear my interview went well. I'm from Melbourne, so Adelaide isn't my go to preference, but it doesn't instil a hell of a lot of confidence in me getting an offer from Monash.

for nsw universities, will top-up offers be given out during january round 2? or is it only for ib candidates?

also, for satac, can we do the same procedure as uac - where you reorder preferences for the next round? or is it over once you get the offer to your top preference (uadel)?

Just making sure you realise the length of the degree doesn't impact the length of the BMP return of service, it's the same regardless. Are you actually saying PMQ unbonded > JMP unbonded > Kensington unbonded > PMQ bonded > JMP bonded > Kensington bonded?

To clarify for those reading along, the ideal preferencing, had it been possible, would have been:

PMQ unbonded > JMP unbonded > PMQ bonded > JMP bonded > Kensington either...

(ETA: but mostly, #1 preference UTas. Love that )

Hi Crow, it seems that if she has to do ROS for bonded then best to get it over with after 5 yrs than 6.
