Bond Bond Medicine: General Discussion

I think you have already found out to completely honest with you. I support Jangko to move on with your life.

Ok just to clarify some things for everyone.

- yes, satisfied means waitlist for a September intake in the RARE chance they proceed with it.

- there are people who sa the interview and still have pending next to the interview status and application status. These people are not on the waitlist. (They have pending because they did poorly on the interview)

- instead of using energy to wait for the September intake, focus on doing your current degree and preparing well for next year. Or, you could start studying for gamsat as well as do some interview prep.

edit: spelling lol

Yeah I'd have to agree with glow, for everyone that is stressing over whether or not a September intake is going to occur - this is extremely counterproductive. Not only is it probably not going to happen, but it will only divert your attention away from doing other important things that will bolster your candidacy for next year

While I can see where the people saying “move on” to others might be coming from, I think there may be people on this blog who are moving on while remaining curious about the Bond process and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s also important to show each other some empathy and let people recover from the disappointment of no offer in their own time. This should be a safe place to ask questions and have them patiently and kindly answered by the people who care enough to do so.

Agreed, but there is a difference about inquiring about a selection process or inner details and theres worrying over TAC codes...

Question's like these not only clog up valuable information from experienced users, making it harder for most people to learn about the selection process for themselves, but also keeps you on your toes for an offer that is unlikely to come.

This comment isn't nesecarrily directed at you, but imo you are best of 'moving on', not in the sense of forgetting about it, but in the sense of trying to guess probabilities of events we know nothing about. Nightwatchman has made it pretty clear that a september intake is very unlikely to happen for good reasons, so hanging onto the thread of possibility is just bringing your hopes up for nothing (on the contrary - it would be a welcome suprise if the 10% occured)

I know its very likely September won't happen, but its still good to have a bit of hope I guess. This could be good for our mental state.

I just spoke to a person from Bond. He said they should have an update in 2-3 weeks regarding September. They will send emails for those on waiting list (which I believe are the satisfied candidates) and if it doesn't it will update on QTAC.
lovely, more debt to pay off :/ (for those who are doing a course in the meantime as census date will pass)

I’m confused - do they mean a) if September works out: will contact waitlisted
b) no September admissions - nothing from bond, just status update on qtac?
