Bond Bond Medicine: General Discussion

Hi all hope the interviews went well. Seemed like only a significantly less proportion of females interviewed? Did you guys have this experience?
I dont think so, during my interview interview session, it seemed to be about 60% Female and 40% Male

Mightve just been my group though, so cant make a holistic judgement

hey does anyone know about the way bond gives out offers, is it just based on interviews, or a combo of psych test, ATAR and interview? On that document they sent out with the interview details they said that the interview is just one part of the selection criteria for making offers, but i'm not sure what that means

I'm based in NSW. If I go to Bond, can I still get an internship in a hospital in NSW instead of QLD?
You can but you'll be on lower allocation priority, which affects your chances for a choice location. NSW graduates are priority 1, you'd be priority 2 if you were NSW Year12 student, priority 3 if not.

Hi Guys,

I've received an offer through QTAC from Bond, will I also receive an email offer from Bond at some point? Or do i Just respond on QTAC?

Thank you

hey guys I got a September offer for this year but due to personal circumstances, I would really hope to start in May
If anyone would be able to swap, please pm me

I don't think that is how it works. Have you contacted Bond about your circumstances?

yeah, I’m past years you would contact Bond and be put in a wait list, however after calling them this year they said that won’t be possible anymore and we need to find someone to swap

Hi.
I was wondering if you can accept the bond offer for now but then decide not to go later? Especially if you will be in the september intake.

Hey, I know a few people have been told there is no budging with swaps from Bond. Do you know who at Bond you talked to who said you can if you line it up?

I emailed admissions and they also said no budging unfortunately :(

When you accept the offer, you’re required to pay the fees for sem 1 by a certain date. It’s around 30k. This fee is non refundable. Having said that, there are people from first year who leave at some point in the first sem if they get an offer elsewhere.
