Essentially my rough plan would be to dump the costs of the first semester/year (can't apply for the ADF until after the 1st semester I think) onto FEE-HELP, join the ADF and then have them pay for the rest of it, but I'm unsure if they'll just cover up to the 150k of FEE-HELP or the whole of the 400k-ish degree.

(idk if this counts as an interview but I got an offer for the psychometric interview with a 96.65 ATAR, hopefully this info is helpful to someone)

The ADF covers the standard amount of an Australian medical degree per year which is around 12k. Hence they don't cover anywhere near the figures you've mentioned. This information is also shown on the ADF website if your looking at the scholarship page. If your a Bond Student you must cover the remainder of the costs yourself which is quite a substantial amount. There are a lot of conditions and stipulations as part of the ADF program and most prospective students should be careful before considering it.

I was just curious as to interview offers, my QTAC says "processing of this information has not commenced". I called QTAC which they said the interview offers are sent in batches and I should wait till 5pm. Wondering if anyone else is in the same boat?

I think the status update whether you get selected or pending as not process. The interview offer from bond uni are send out by batch until 5pm. I could be wrong

Hi - for those who got interview invite / offers, what does your QTAC status update say?

Did any interstate applicant get the interview invite? Bond website says interview for interstate applications are scheduled on the later days. So confused.

Hey, I'm also interstate and my status still says pending; haven't received an email from Bond. I'm also confused with what the website says about sending out information for those still on pending on the 27th. Then again this could mean we weren't selected.

do you reckon more invites are pending to be issued? or this it - no more invites? Its hard waiting to know

I hope so, but I won't count on it. I'm just gonna move on and prepare for my guaranteed premed course, but I will be watching my inbox / QTAC status on the chance that an invite does arrive by the 27th.
 
As I said in many places, here is going to dead.

I got help and information 6 years ago, and now graduated. Is sad and regret
 
Hey guys - I've received and accepted on offer for Bond medicine september intake. However, I am applying for postgrad GEMSAS unis also in may. Theoretically if I get an interview and a subsequent offer (which come out mid/late november), will I be able to drop Bond and start fresh at that other med school?

It's fairly certain you can. Other than not refunding your Sept-trimester fee Bond can't stop you from leaving.
GEMSAS says "An applicant who has been excluded from any university must indicate this when they apply. The schools may contact applicants for further details". Otoh they don't say anything about applicant being previous or current med student.
