Bond Bond Medicine: General Discussion

beware being from NZ you're not eligible for a HECS loan, will have to find the $500k upfront over the 4.7 years.
From their web site it appears around 440K.
But the NZ student will need to find an accommodation in Gold coast the student would allocate another 150k for the living cost.

Hi Guys,

Do you know many students applied for Bond Medical program each year? When you applied as a graduate; do you compete with the undergraduate students as well?

Thanks

Hey everyone! I hope prep is going well for y’all. I’ve attached the link to the discord server we made a while back. It tends to get active around this time so please feel free to join and ask any questions. Additionally during interview time, quite a few prep sessions are held as well so it’s a great way to practice :)

Just reply to this post if the link doesn’t work and I’ll fix it!

All the best everyone!!!

you compete with undergrads if you are an undergrad. if you are a post grad then you compete with pot grd. I believe last yr about 2500 applied to bond and a total of 170-180 were accepted. I am a current 4th year. happy to help anyone out with any questions :)

To apply to Bond University, is there any additional step required after selecting Bond Uni med as the top preference on QTAC? For instance, with JCU, we had to apply directly through their website as well as on QTAC...

Hello, will putting bond into my qtac as first pref (from my understanding this is what it needs to be to be considered) eliminate remote chances of top up offers from lower med prefs?

Bond as first pref will not interfere. Top-up offers are by direct contact from the uni to the applicant, they don't go through the QTAC-preference step.

I'm fairly sure Bond doesn't require a direct application. After you submit through QTAC it should give a checklist of what else you need to do.

I was wondering if anyone had any insight into the ADF sponsorship program? They say that they only cover HELP up to the CSP amount, but Bond is only FFP. I was wondering if its possible for them to cover the costs of the whole degree.

Essentially my rough plan would be to dump the costs of the first semester/year (can't apply for the ADF until after the 1st semester I think) onto FEE-HELP, join the ADF and then have them pay for the rest of it, but I'm unsure if they'll just cover up to the 150k of FEE-HELP or the whole of the 400k-ish degree.

(idk if this counts as an interview but I got an offer for the psychometric interview with a 96.65 ATAR, hopefully this info is helpful to someone)

I just got an email saying i didn't need to sit as they had valid results. I applied and sat 2 years ago, but did not apply last year. I was under the impression that psychometric results only lasted two years?
