Agreed, such lovely interviewers!! I think CSU usually releases offers in UAC's first December offer round (the 8th). But seems like we could also expect the second December offer round (the 22nd). Good luck everyone

Hi- Could someone please advise what the UCAT cut off was for CSU dent interview invites? Interstate and no special considerations? I am unable to find this anywhere- thanks!

There are no official cut-offs for CSU dent interviews. Here are some of the stats reported on MSO:
I think most of the offers (actual offers, not interview invites) reported on MSO are CSU students who applied for internal transfer.

I did not receive the offer, having a CGPA of 6.87 and am a current CSU student. I got 3 years of rural experience, am an overseas dentist and studying Bachelor of Oral Health. I thought that my interview went well. But I guess not good enough. I really wonder what they were looking for!

CSU offers are determined entirely based on the candidates’ interview performance. Your GPA and prior experience/studies have no direct impacts on the selection process.
I agree that med/dent interviews are quite unpredictable. The examiners are given a set of criteria but sometimes it’s just impossible to completely eliminate bias. That’s why MSO recommends candidates to apply to as many dental/medical schools as possible.

Unfortunately, we cannot determine the exact cut-off for CSU dent interview invites. However, the University of New South Wales (UNSW) runs the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT), and their selection process is based on academic performance and results from the UCAT. Therefore, while there is no set cut-off, successful applicants are likely to have achieved a high score on the UCAT.
Interstate applicants will also be assessed on their academic results and any special considerations they may have. For example, special care includes factors such as being from a rural area or an educationally disadvantaged background. These special considerations can increase your chance of being invited for an interview as they consider any unique circumstances you may have. If you are still determining your UCAT score, it is recommended that you sit the test to increase your chances of being invited for an interview. It is also essential to ensure you meet the entry requirements and submit all relevant documents when applying for the course.

They will be face to face which hasn't been done for a while.
That's good!
Face-to-face would be good. Are they testing dexterity and spatial awareness?
