[Undergrad] EAS/SCATS/UES/SEAS General Discussion and Enquiries

There is a system, I thought that it was schools applying on your behalf however instead of you applying directly? It's called reasonable adjustments Reasonable Adjustments for Senior Secondary External Assessments - TASC

did it change this year? have i missed the deadline if my school hasn't applied anything for me yet as i see that the deadline this year was april for that which was quite early...

for uac, do i need to provide a new EAS statement if I have already gotten the form done for ANU as they use the same form, but it was completed in March. if I don't have anything to add but is the timestamp ok or should I give it back to my school to correct the time and write a new statement - the person who originally did my form is away on leave so I would need to get someone else to do it again

You can use the anu letter head, that’s what I did!

SATAC UES gives 5 aggregate marks (not 5 ATAR points), which boosts a mid-97 ATAR to the max 99.95.

For the other state TACs you need to check their EAS/SEAS webpages to see what you get.
wait so if i qualify for ues and got 97.3, it might get boosted to 99+?

___________
A1 replies: It can vary a little each year. For last year > https://satac.edu.au/documents/sace-ntcet-university-aggregate-to-atar-2024
ATAR 97.3 = 83.90 aggregate marks, add 5 adj marks = 88.90, converts back to ATAR 99.85.

Btw if instead you got 97.55 = 84.30 marks, add 5 = 89.30 => 99.95, you'd be eligible for Flinders.

Thanks A1!
I also was wondering if anyone knows how many points does UNSW give for Financial Hardship (family tax-benefit part A)
I believe it’s been mentioned here before that this information isn’t fully disclosed but I do admit to not having checked for quite a while.

Hi All,

NSW EAS Illness/Disability eligible, applying for UAC, VTAC, QTAC and SATAC. Quick confirmation of the EAS/SEAS info gathered from this forum and a couple of questions on VTAC and SATAC UES please?

1. UAC: Applied under P01A with supporting documentation and awaiting approval confirmation.
2. QTAC: Once the uni preferencing was completed and paid for, there was an Alert asking to fill in Rural and/or EAS. I filled in EAS only (under personal illness/disability) as I dont qualify for Rural and the application portal confirmed completion (but not acceptance).
3. VTAC: Dows VTAC accepts/entertains EAS applications under Personal illness/Disability from interstate applicants? Anyone applied from NSW and got it approved in the past?
4. SATAC: See SATAC UES application form below. As a NSW applicant, I don't have a Health Card or a SA government issued School Card. Just wondering how can interstate applicants apply for UES without this supporting documentation as mentioned in the form below? The form also refers to 'International ear 12' applicants being eligible for UES and provides them with guidance to email the filled form and fsuporting documentation to satac email.
Really confused, are interstate applicants eligible for UES? If they are, what about the supportong docs etc? Anyone applied for UES from NSW and got it approved with non-SATAC documentation?

(Removed as it contains personal information - also the form that you said is not linked to the post -2xq)

Thanks

Hey Everyone,

I’ve applied for EAS in all TAC’s (UTAS included) and was wondering if they will let me know if I have been accepted or that I must ask them for this info. I remember seeing a post on this information but cannot seem to find it
