Yeah I'd agree, just chill and take it easy for the time being. The work has been done, be content in your efforts regardless of the outcome.
On another note, Otago may as well rename themselves Harvard if 200+ people are getting 94%+. Don't forget also you do heaps of people who get in off the waiting list, so who knows how low the cutoffs could go. Best of Luck to everyone!

Hey guys, sorry for being pessimistic but have we considered that maybe the UCAT threshold is only getting a tick because the Medical Admissions Office have finished processing it? It seems odd to let us know so subtlety, I thought we would either hear about a public release of the threshold or a notification on eVision, or an email.
I'm also doubtful because I have the tick, but my SJT was more than one standard deviation below the ANZ mean (so very low), I wasn't expecting to meet the threshold at all..

Hi there,

Speaking from our experience, no, there is no public announcement. You should double check with the admissions office if you are worried.

I know that Pearson released some incorrect SJT scores this year where they marked partially correct answers as fully correct. There was case of a person getting above the maximum possible score because of this. This was probably taken into account by the Health Sciences Office.

Now I’m worried I didn’t reach threshold!

Hi there,

It's really unlikely that is the case. There is really no point in worrying about this here. I still recommend just contacting the office to confirm it tomorrow. They are nice people.

Good luck.

Well if you got a tick, then you passed. If you didn't, then you didn't pass.

Hi,

I usually don't want to spread worries in this forum, but I have seen things go wrong quite a few times. I definitely have seen false green ticks, too. It's best to check with the office.

By the same logic, if you passed your English Diagnositic Test and there's a green tick, why shouldn't there be a green tick if you passed the UCAT threshold. I'd say there's no need to worry.
