Look, it comes down to your application and interview I believe. JCU is different in that it accepts people who are "fit for medicine" and not just ATAR99+ students. At the same time, they won't just accept someone who has an ATAR of 90 or something similar. This is what a JCU medical school spokesperson told me at an exposition in Brissy. So it's not all about the ATAR but you still have to do pretty well. One of my friends got an OP6 and she got in from second round. So JCU sees if you're fit to become a doctor - at the same time you still have to be reasonably smart. That's the reason there's no published ATAR requirement - because they're just not after smartness, they're after people who would be versatile doctors in the future.
