Please look at the collated offers thread for the answer to your first question.Did any non standards get an offer for JCU medicine? And does anyone know if there are minor offer rounds for JCU after the 28th of Jan?
I'm from NSW hence first round was 28th Jan and I guess there are no further rounds from JCU.Possibly if someone rejects an offer or they have skipped 1st year (If JCU didn’t over offer). I think individuals had to respond to the latest offer round by the 1st.
Did you get a 1st or 2nd round interview?
That would likely be for an applicant with fairly extensive rural, indigenous, or tropical medicine experience/background. It is unlikely that would be enough for a metro applicant unless they had an absolute knockout application. There's no published set GPA that guarantees or excludes you from a JCU interview, and as JCU don't publish the written application criteria it is really difficult to make any definitive conclusions about competitiveness at any level, let alone for the few non-standard spots that are on offer.I saw on the website that JCU considers >5.75 competitive for a post grad spot, just wondering what’s the lowest Post grad GPA to get an interview
