Hey guys,
For the letters of support, is it better to get letters from people in different areas of your life? For example, from an employer, school teacher, lecturer, volunteer organisation, etc? I heard the letters are valued less so on the person writing it but rather focuses on the contents/how the letter attests to an individual’s character.
I am worried as I am not sure I will be able to get recommendation letters from other areas and am relying on letters from my university lecturers and school teachers. Since my volunteering has not been ongoing, I feel that the letter will not be able to attest to my qualities as well as my lecturers can. I have created some great relationships with my teachers and I feel that their word will best represent my skills and personal initiative.
So yeah, hoping someone can offer their insight. Thanks guys.
