They used to. You’d need to check with them directly to get updated advice.

I'm fairly sure JMP stopped doing the PQA 2-3 years ago.

There's a little history to it. In UMAT days JMP used only Section 1 Logical Reasoning for interview selection, then used the PQA to supplement (i.e. JMP preferred its home-grown PQA over UMAT sections 2&3). After switching to UCAT JMP uses all 4 sections so PQA is no longer needed.

Would anyone know the exact time within January that interviews are held for JMP for a non rural interstate applicant? And whether this is in person or online? TIA

One thing I heard from UoN's 2025 entry webinar that they conducted in May was that the PQA will return if they decide to conduct their MSAs in person. It'll be interesting seeing how it plays out after 3-4 years of not including it (that is unless they continue doing the MSA through zoom lol)

mhm pre sure they're doing zoom again this year tho they updated the key dates website to say 'via zoom'

Yeah it's confirmed they're doing interviews via Zoom this year as well, I'd say its unlikely for them to ever return in person at this point

Heya! Does anyone know if Interstate applicants for JMP (non ACT/QLD ) receive invites at the same time as in-state applicants? I know we would have later interviews in January. I'm a domestic student applying from overseas with a 3280 UCAT and (678 SJT) and a 99.9 ATAR ranking. Having not been eligible for a lot of QLD interviews, and missing out on WSU, I'm a little worried.

Historically I think they do all come out at once. Given there’s no ATAR in the equation it wouldn’t make sense for them to hold off as nothing will change. Did you not receive anything yet? I think your UCAT total is above what we’ve heard the cut-off is.

Yeah, I've checked my spam folder, and nothing's there either... But you are right, from whats on the Invite thread, it seems like I would receive an offer. Could it be something to do with the fact that I applied for overseas qualifications + UCAT and am being classed as an international student?

I’d contact them. International students generally get their interviews and offers much earlier than domestic applicants.
