Damn well I posted that when I called Sue so I guess things have changed since.Yeah its definitely mid-nov this year for JMP. JPM will likely be end of October and UNSW will be later again unless you are a rural applicant.

Late next week or early the week after confirmed by sue at the JMPAny theories or ideas about how 'early' in November we should expect interview invites to be released?
Oh wow - so still a while to wait. I guess at least I can stop compulsively checking for a while hahaLate next week or early the week after confirmed by sue at the JMP
Previous years it has been auto allocated to youWith regards to JMP interview invites, do they allow you to pick a date or do they allocate you one, because I heard from someone else that they automate a date for you?
I spoke with Sue from the School of Medicine (Tel: 4921 5583) last week and she said (a) invites will be out end of next week, and (b) interview times will be allocated to applicants. She said the email they send out will tell applicants what to do if there is a clash with an HSC exam. With regards to JMP interview invites, do they allow you to pick a date or do they allocate you one, because I heard from someone else that they automate a date for you?
I wonder if this means Friday afternoon (like usual lol) or whether there’s a chance of earlier in the week … I’m sick of obsessively checking emailsI spoke with Sue from the School of Medicine (Tel: 4921 5583) last week and she said (a) invites will be out end of next week, and (b) interview times will be allocated to applicants. Best of luck in the HSC to everyone here too!
No need to obsessively check emails, just stay full-time on MSO you will know the minute they come outI’m sick of obsessively checking emails
I don’t feel like I will be getting an interview with my 3000/92nd percentile as it’s just under last years cut off of 93rd (and there’s been talk of percentiles jumping again this yearNo need to obsessively check emails, just stay full-time on MSO you will know the minute they come out![]()

Preferencing should not affect invites but strangely some schools have now disregarded this. That said, I guarantee you 98%ile 3rd pref will get a JMP invite.I think this was asked before but will my preferencing on my UAC application affect my chances of getting an JMP invite? My UCAT score (3210; 98th percentile) should be suffice to get me an interview offer otherwise, but as I had placed it 3rd (because of UNSW and WSU being my 2 favoured universities), could that affect me in any way?
In a normal year JMP interviews NSW/ACT/QLD late Nov with offers mid Jan, then interviews interstate late Jan with offers early Feb.Is there only 1 round of offers for JMP? I was having a look at the collated data for 2021, and it has mention of 2 rounds of offers. Nothing on their key dates indicate that to be the case for 2022 intake.
Your post is incorrect on couple of points.I received a JMP interview invite and I'm interstate.
That's NOT the case since JMP apportions the number of place offers to number of interviewees in each round. They do their best to achieve a similar offer cutoff score between the two rounds.I'm a bit confused by this as wouldn't someone have a better chance doing it in Nov/Dec where there are possibly more places to be competing for, rather than in Jan, where there are less places offered?
The latest info from JMP Key Dates is this year they will interview interstates mid January and release offers to them + locals in the same round 26th January. So you'd be better off doing January for more prep time. So, I'm just thinking about whether I should move my interview to Nov/Dec for a better chance or do it in January
Also, I'm not sure if I'm understanding, but in the offer email, they explained that there are actually 2 offer rounds (not 1) the main offer round (UAC January offer round 1) and a later offer round for the interstate applicants that were interviewed. Sorry if I misunderstood what you said! The latest info from JMP Key Dates is this year they will interview interstates mid January and release offers to them + locals in the same round 26th January.
