yes but that could be because of my second preference in aspire and not dental !!!

i had a chat with Latrobe support and she said ALL applicants get it.

I wonder if your referees have received any email from the uni? the latrobe support person said they have contacted the referees but mine hasnt been contact yet (i am in WA- if it matters)

I'm not sure if that applies for dentistry because I did volunteering at la trobe partnership place but they said dent is very competitive and are not sure if I would get an offer

I'd assume that some referees may not be contacted simply because they have too many applications. I think it's like around 10k Aspire applications a year so that's 10k people they have to contact.

thats why i was trying to find the common grounds with others who have NOT got ref checks request .... is it a matter of 'state' or 'partner org' or what ??

One question I have is how many Aspire applications are for dentistry 1st preference of that 10k pool.

Also what if they can’t actually get in contact with the referee? Like if they call at a time when the referee is unavailable, referee doesn’t see message, etc.

Apparently they will release the results for aspire application either end of this week or next week (called them)

Ah so they probs already contacted the relevant referees. I'm guessing they only contact if the application is going to be approved so kinda just accepted that I haven't gotten it lol

They told me the emails were gonna be sent out today but haven't gotten anything so yeah probs gonna be either tomorrow or next week.

In terms of referees the lady told me that they still might contact referees but not sure how likely that is.
