Hi all
Received an offer to Adelaide. But I can’t enroll to subjects as it says subject lots are full. What does this mean ? Moderator or anyone please ?

It seems like currently there are 2 classes that are completely full right now, the tutorial for MEDIC ST 1103A and the practical for MEDIC ST 1102A. I suggest contacting the University for help either by calling them or going to the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences office at the Helen Mayo Building directly.

Can you request to defer the UK offer to next year? Since you are a year early in age it's reasonable to take a semi-gap year and resit the HSC exams for your 2-3 worst ATAR subjects (not going back to school but as an independent candidate, I understand the NSW system allows it). If you can improve them by a total of 10 marks it'd raise your ATAR to 99.6-99.7
With a 90ish UMAT you can re-apply to all med schools including UQ and be quite competitive. It also provides a fallback option if you don't get such UMAT, 99.6-99.7 should get you a Griffith provisional spot at one of the three campuses.

Surprised that he would have a UK offer especially since their academic year starts around September - if he had one the offer would have been made before he even got his ATAR.

I second this suggestion. This is what I would do.
The 4.5 Year MB ChB program from the University of Buckingham starts in January (and not september) and hence perfect if you do not improve your ATAR/UMAT this year Medical School | University of Buckingham
Hi everyone. So I just got off the phone with UQ and they said they made limited top up offers in the January 25 round for provisional med. I guess, this is just a request to those who received offers from UQ and are certain they don't want to go for whatever reason (having received offers from other preferable unis etc) please do us a favour and reject your offer? I'm very close to the cutoff and UQ is my preferred uni because of family reasons, so I'm quite desperate
Hey, I know this is a year old post, but I’m currently in your same situation, my UMAT is 1 point below the bonded cutoff. I’m just wondering if you made it in the end, currently UQ is my only option, and I’m waiting for the Jan 25th round.
