Med and Dent - 2019 Entry (Offers)

You're obviously a rural candidate, if you wouldn't mind sharing your GPA/ATAR and UMAT that would be fabulous for our data collection. CONGRATS!!
I have a 71 %ile UMAT and 6.8 GPA- completed my first year of medical science at WSU this year!
And yes I'm a RA2 rural applicant and got a CSP offer

Other than the offer email, has anyone else received any other emails from WSU? I was expecting/ assuming they would send out an email with information about the course etc. after we enrolled. Or will this be sent after all offers have been given out?

Hey

I got an email around 9 in the morning which had my student ID and instructions to enroll. Perhaps check your junk box? Unless you mean you got this already and we’re expwcting something further. In that case I only got the one email.

So you've already received your student number and enrolled?
I've just checked back through my emails from last year and I don't believe I received any further emails. If you log into vUWS you can check if the MBBS course hub or the Foundations of Medicine 1 hub are open to you yet. I doubt that the latter is. You can check out the info there, other than that you'll just have to wait for further information to be uploaded, for me that didn't happen until early February and it was regarding orientation.
Be sure to check your student email too, as they're more likely to correspond through that.

Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place, but are the December round 2 offers for WSU for all applicants, or rural/ nonstandards only?

You mean the ones that went out today? Rural only, and they need to have WSU as first preference. Nothing to do with nonstandard though.

ETA: it had to be first pref for this round last year, I’m assuming it’s the same this year.
