Monash Monash Medicine: General Entry Discussion

Yay we may have solved the mystery - still though, kinda weird you have differing number of stations...
It looks like the standard applicants have 4 stations and rural applicants have 6 stations. So did they make it tougher for standard applicants or is there something else I can't figure out?

Yep pretty sure it's based on date... wth is going on?!

Can we chuck them an email to ask lol - or will they not answer

Hey guys, according to my understanding, this is a mistake on Monash's part. Someone I know asked for clarification, to which Monash uni responded with an apology for sending the wrong info (wrong info being 4 interviewers and overall 50 mins interview time), and clarifying that there are six interviewers and the MMI will take approx ~60 mins excluding the 30 mins for registration time. I am a non-rural student and received an email today with the zoom link & the above information (6 stations, ~10 mins per station, 60 mins for MMI).

EDIT: jdog you should chuck em an email for further clarification, from what I've heard they are fast repliers.

🤦‍♂️Lmao Monash really sh*t the bed - I'll see what they say 👍

Anyone know about whether its 3 questions per stimulus, or 5? I trying to think about questions that require some time to get into, like
the why medicine question, which would be either very limited, or very shallow if answered in 1.5 minutes, and if prioritized in time, mean answers to other questions would be quite cut.

Ye they just confirmed its 6 interviewers and 60 mins not 4 and 40 mins - so I guess the 4 station interview was for international students and they lazily sent out the same email
