Monash Monash Medicine: General Entry Discussion

Yep. Would I still get an interview with 97 or 98 cause I feel confident with interview, just breaking that 99 atar is quite difficult. Thanks
Monash has published that this year they are doing an interview round in December (based solely on UCAT) and an interview round in January (UCAT + ATAR are considered). It also says on their website that the indicative UCAT score for interview, based on last year, is 2900. Therefore I think you should be confident to get an interview with your score of 3110 especially for the December interview round!

ark I must reinstate that the Dec round is rumoured to be only for VICs. if you're non-vic you're forced to be in the second round interview due to monash discrimination

Hi all,
Was checking the Monash Timeline for domestic applicants and saw this:
Week commencing 10 October 2022 - Applicants who have sat the UCAT in 2022 and have one of the preferences for direct entry medicine courses at Monash listed, will receive an email from the Faculty, providing them with any additional information surrounding the application process.
Just wondering if you guys got any correspondence from them, cos I don't think I did.
Thanks!

An email came out today which explained signups for Dean's list.

Can someone please explain what happens once you finish your Deans rural list application? Do you have to sign a statutory declaration and email it to them, and what happens next? When do interview invites via that pathway for rural students come out? Does the Dean's Rural List take into account how rural you are from RA2 to RA5, or all those people within that range are allowed?

Thanks and Kind Regards,

Hey guys,

Does anyone have a rough estimate on when the Monash Interview invites will be coming out? The interview dates are scheduled for 7-9th of December, and invites from other unis have started to come out.

Thanks

I have the same question. I have heard that most unis tend to release them 2 weeks prior to the first interview day, so in that case we could expect it to be released in the week beginning 21st November? Maybe someone else can confirm? Thank you!!!

Just seeing some people getting offers to Monash today, what kind of students were offered in this round. I thought medicine wasn't included in VTAC November offer round?
