YES, this is the exact problem I'm having. I think it's an error on their endHi student24, thank you for responding.
I have clicked the enrol button and my units say 'PENDING ENROLLED'. However, I still received the ERROR notice.
Are you enrolled in 2 units?

Was wondering if monash high requirements for interstate is still applicable to rurals? I'm a mm5/ra3 rural applicant, 98.25 atar from QLD. I received a JCU offer this year but I have chosen to defer for a year, as financially it's more viable this way, as well as other personal considerations and the fact I'm still guaranteed a place in a medical program either way. I was wondering on my odds of entry to monash/JMP next year if I achieve a 3k+ UCAT, as a gap year RA3/MM5 applicant? ThanksAs DrLMG mentioned I didn't include Monash due to their high cutoffs for interstate applicants. Now having seen two posted invites 99.75 + 96%ile this year we can add Monash for your son. Looks like with online interviews Monash has opened up more slots for interstate. Best of luck to him whichever way he chooses.
I think it’s once we’re enrolled and get the code starting with U to our Monash email addressAlso how can we confirm we accepted the Monash offer?
Monash high requirements are for interstate non-rural. Rural Vic or non-Vic are invited to the same interview round, we believe they have the same requirements. Was wondering if monash high requirements for interstate is still applicable to rurals? Does the VTAC website say Monash Med is in all these 4 rounds?Hi, on the VTAC website it says that there are 4 offer rounds, with the last one being on Feb 20. Based on past years, around after how many offer rounds do they fill up all interstate places, considering a lot of them reject it since they have the scores to secure an offer at their respective state. I’ve got an offer in my home state but would prefer Monash over it, it’s just that the course in my home state starts before mid-Feb so I’m worried as to whether I might end up already starting the course before I get an offer from Monash and that there are consequences from pulling out from a degree.
What are the requirements like for non rural interstate SEAS applicants? They seem to have a quota for SEAS students and my thoughts are that the VIC students will have filled the majority up in first round, leaving very few spots for interstate/overseas second round.Monash high requirements are for interstate non-rural. RA3 98.25 3000+ UCAT you will have excellent chances. Even 2900+ would give you decent chances. Good luck.
What you are calling the Rural School Leaver entry is actually called the Extended Rural Cohort (ERC for short). The ERC has clinical training in rural areas (although they do have a small amount in metro areas), BMP has normal clinical training. After graduating, BMP has to spend 3 years practicing in rural areas (although it doesn't have to be all at once and they have a while to do this), while ERC has no requirement after graduating.Hi all,
Just curious as to any advice with preferencing between Monash CSP Rural School Leaver entry (clinical training in Year 3, 4, and part of year 5 all in regional or rural Victoria) vs Monash CSP Bonded place?
Cheers.
Interstate at Monash is super competitive. Most people getting in from interstate that are non-rural have a UCAT of 98%+ and a selection rank of 99.90+ (this info is based on what I've read in MSO). Also Monash does not have a quota for SEAS students, SEAS just increases students' selection rank. What are the requirements like for non rural interstate SEAS applicants? Did you get Monash jintei ?Same boat, 99.8 + 3170 (low 97). Got a flat out rejection from UNSW
Turns out it was a mistake, as I emailed Monash Med admissions; they have confirmed that with an international overseas y12 qualification I would be eligible for February offer round only.Did you get Monash jintei ?
If not that's very unusual for a Vic 99.80 + 3170. With a high place ratio and equal weightings I thought that near-top ATAR+UCAT combo wouldn't need much from the MMI.
Hey, thanks heaps for the reply. Was also wondering whether RA3 gives an advantage over RA2? Or if it's all considered the same. As well as this, does the dean's rural list provide advantages over just being rural, or is it the system to prove that you ARE rural?Monash high requirements are for interstate non-rural. Some unis definitely do ‘rank’ degree of rurality (JCU, UTAS, UNSW) and some definitely don’t (JMP, JPM, etc), so this is a reasonable question but I’m not actually sure what the Monash policy is. From observing admissions for ~7 years, my guess is Monash don’t, but someone may be able to clarify.Hey, thanks heaps for the reply. Was also wondering whether RA3 gives an advantage over RA2? Dean's Rural List is basically just to prove that you're rural and boosts your chances of getting an offer. No idea if Monash ranks rurality but if you called them they'd probably be able to tell you.Hey, thanks heaps for the reply. Was also wondering whether RA3 gives an advantage over RA2? If I don't apply for the dean's rural list, then I don't receive rural bonuses, right?Dean's Rural List is basically just to prove that you're rural and boosts your chances of getting an offer. No idea if Monash ranks rurality but if you called them they'd probably be able to tell you.
I see. On top of RA3/98.25 ATAR, I live in an area that is in the bottom 25% of socioeconomic status in Australia. Would I receive any bonuses for this as well? Furthermore, I know this is unrelated to the Monash thread, but are my chances at UNSW much good? What sort of UCAT would I be looking at to be competitive. Thanks - and if this is cluttering up the thread with unrelated stuff, please let me know (idk proper etiquette on this forum). If I could DM you somehow (if you're okay with that), that would be great since I have a lot of questions for admissions hahahaSome unis definitely do ‘rank’ degree of rurality (JCU, UTAS, UNSW) and some definitely don’t (JMP, JPM, etc), so this is a reasonable question but I’m not actually sure what the Monash policy is.
