My bro went to watch Dark knight and he said it lives up to hype. Saving it for after-trials
K, about Harold and Kumar (goes to white castle one right?) Friends and I watched it coz someone heard it was funny but it was so NOT...I dunno whether it was coz it was 1am and we were dead tired or it just wasn't funny. I think it's funny for guys but not girls ...does that make sense?? For me I found it alike to Dude where's my Car which was the most annoying movie ever.

Or maybe I just have a limited sense of humour? lol

Yeh Dark Knight was plain awesome... and yeh i didn't like either of the Harold and Kumar movies - just not my type of comedy.

I saw Mamma Mia last week and loved it. It's only for people who like musicals, and preferably ABBA as well, but it's a fun, funny movie.

True statement is true. It's defs more of a guy movie - in fact, I only know one girl who actually enjoyed the original .

So, Zombie Strippers..... Interesting sort of film. Simple, you know? I don't know about everyone else but it's refreshing to watch a film that delivers in exactly the way it's name suggests it will.

Actor-turned-director Clark Gregg shows he is as adept behind the camera as he is in front of it with CHOKE, a wickedly colorful dark comedy about mothers and sons, sexual compulsion, and the sordid underbelly of Colonial theme parks.

Victor Mancini (Rockwell), a sex-addicted med-school dropout, who keeps his increasingly deranged mother, Ida (Huston), in an expensive private medical hospital by working days as a historical reenactor at a Colonial Williamsburg theme park.

At night Victor runs a scam by deliberately choking in upscale restaurants to form parasitic relationships with the wealthy patrons who “save” him. When, in a rare lucid movement, Ida reveals that she has withheld the shocking truth of his father’s identity, Victor enlists the aid of his best friend, Denny (Henke) and his mother’s beautiful attending physician, Dr. Paige Marshall (Macdonald), to solve the mystery before the truth of his possibly divine parentage is lost forever.

I think I might. It looks like it could be kinda intruiging or kinda crap.

Consensus: Brutal and breathless, Quantum Of Solace delivers tender emotions along with frenetic action. Not as good as franchise reboot Casino Royale, but still an impressive entry to the Bond canon.

I was hoping for better reviews! Regardless, it should be one of those 'switch-off' films and thus lots of fun.

There are so many exciting movies to look forward to next year. X-men Origins: Wolverine and Harry Potter are the ones I'm most excited about. I hope transformers lives up to its predecesor. I'm hesitantly looking forward to Dorian Gray as well..... hesitantly because I'm scared they'll ruin it.

WhooH! Twilight.. December! yes I am lame. I read the series over the weekend when I was hoping to get a letter for Newcastle uni, which I did in the end but I needed something to distract me. And I just started reading New Moon again (I think I'm up to my 5th time for the series, major procrastinator!) ..

And Australia I can't wait to see, mainly because a couple of my friends were extras.. yes I am from the bogan town of Bowen'wood' that was on the tv with a premiere. I'm in surf lifesaving there and I got to 'patrol' at Baz's daughter's birthday party.. which turned out it was too cold to swim, so I 'patrolled' the jumping castle, where Hugh accidently kicked this other little girl in the head.. It was pretty funny seeing them act like normal people.

Oh and Razzle Dazzle, if you have ever had any experience with dancing or singing or acting, it is a must see.

Can't wait for Harry Potter to come out. Very disappointed that it has been put off until next year though.

Mmm Quantum of Solace was pretty decent I guess - definitely not as good as Casino Royale. Plot was really confusing and had some pointless bits - but then again how many people come to Bond movies for the plot I guess.

I can't stand the Twilight books... but I may see the movie, just because vampires (even silly ones like Edward Cullen) are cool. Then again, maybe I won't, there are many other (better) movie options out this summer.

Lol I sort of agree with you on the books, but then I don't. It's incredibly simple literature, simple story, but it's unique and an easy read. Everyone is right though about Stephenie Meyer needing a thesaurus. Seriously, the amount of times she uses the word 'chagrin' gets on my nerves. But I still like it for what it is. Definitely not as well thought out and written as the Harry Potter series but hey, they are one of a kind.

I didn't like Quantum of Solace, the first Bond movie I watched was Casino Royale, so maybe I had high expectations, because I actually liked that one, but yer.. it just didn't work for me.

Anyway, I have a driving lesson now, gotta scoot.
