I was wondering if anyone knows if we are we allowed to go over 300 words in our hall application even though the page says "Please limit this to 300 words". Cheers
Well, if they've said 'please', probably should follow their instructions.

Well, if they've said 'please', probably should follow their instructions.
When I did mine I managed to shorten it to 320 words and literally couldn't take anything else out (even after having multiple people read it), so I emailed the accommodation office lol and they said it was fine at 320 words. Probably try not to do anymore than 20 words over the limit though.I was wondering if anyone knows if we are we allowed to go over 300 words in our hall application even though the page says "Please limit this to 300 words". carrington,knox and Hayward were my options
so my statuses over the month have gone from transfer to completed to pending to transfer... does this mean I didn't get first choice??????

mine is now 'under consideration' which makes me think that if I'm gonna get an offer it should be sometime soon

exact same as you (highest preference being Carrington and lowest being Arana! didn't know anything about 'first choice halls' before I applied so I'm a little worried ngl

I applied on the 1st of August, and my application status still says 'transfer'. :/ First choice was Margarets

When I called them a while ago, they said it meant it has been sent to your first preference hall of accommodation and they've probably received it.Does anyone know what the status "transfer" means?
