Nah staying at a studio that has 7 rooms. It's a pretty sweet place. My room's masssssssive compared to my room last year, and I got my own fridge and couch and other stuff which is nice. Unlimited internet and broadband too, and it was 185 per week which is actually one of the more expensive rooms in this place I think.

damn that's a pretty good deal! what month did you sign the contract last year?

is it newish?

I think I signed it about late August? Nah it's far from newish. My windows open with a rope + weight mechanism haha. Can't control pressure + temperature separately on the shower too as another example.

Haha yeah bro, don't even know if one of my dogs would want to sleep in our flat.

That sounds like the Scarfie life. I prefer being ages away in a relatively decent shack. :lols:

Lol lucky man, will be fun times though. I'll look back in horror one day no doubt.

While you are living it up in your huge mansion. (y)

Hey guys and gals

I'd just like to wish everyone good luck for this year (especially the new Health Scis and 3rd Year Competitive Grads aiming for Med school). I won't be posting here for a long time as I'm going to deprive myself of MSO and many other time-consuming things this semester/year. I hope you 2nd year Medders live it up at Med School, and I'll probably see you guys around the campus.

Peace.

Good luck koochkooch, hope your MSO deprivation helps you get some awesome grades. Make sure you do post here on occasion!

On another note, discovered some interesting things today:

Firstly, Carrington got 44 people into med, which is very exciting. Probably the most successful college (I'm sorry, but I just have to say this :p). Also got 12 people in each of pharmacy and physio, and 1 person in each of med lab and dentistry (quite a few people did get dentistry offers, but no one from Carrington chose it over med, and I do know of one person choosing pharmacy over dent). Anyone know how any of the other halls went?

Secondly, if you do want to view your HUBS192 or HEAL192 exam script, this is still possible this week (but you have to book in advance). I'm viewing both tomorrow...

Wow thats so many people! Surprised only one chose dent though.

Don't know how Selwyns done yet, guess I'll find out on Wednesday

Good luck koochkooch, we'll see you in med someday

Good-luck Kooch.
If you put your mind to it and if you want something enough you will get it!(y)

...
So who else doesn't have a costume yet for the 'ball'?

...carrying on from my last post with another interesting figure (one that I only just found out), apparently HSFY has undergone a massive increase in numbers this year - like, HUBS191 has over 2000 students and CHEM191 has somewhere in the order of 2300 students. There is serious talk of moving to 4 lecture streams (and chemistry has already had to squeeze in more lab streams).

Fun, fun, fun for all you 2010 HSFYers!
