Perhaps they can be said to be a cohort that had more steam than usual at the beginning, and faded into ordinarity? :p

[offtopic]You might be more right than you think there. While there were some exceptions (e.g. CHEM terms test, and some unusually good marks in HEAL), and while everyone loses steam in S2, I think there's reasonable evidence that that cohort underperformed in S2, especially relative to S1.[/offtopic]

I have words from a guy studying in HUBS (Physiology 3rd year or 4th year or w/e I don't know
He said the HUBS test this year was harder due to it being too easy the past few years
It's worth 7% instead of the 5% so I can see why.
True or not, Not sure, but I can tell you the test was not "easy" as people described it.

Hey everyone :)
I got 23 in the HUBS test, which was a bit disappointing... but never mind, at least its only 7% :D
Looking forward to CELS?

3 years after this thread was started and its still going. Awesome

Yeah Hahaha, Koochkooch really started something back then

Danny havent seen you in a bit, not even in the ground floor study rooms doing your tutorials. How goes Med IV?

Haha, thats pretty awesome GG. I think the most important thing is consistency, sure everyone will be going nuts for these tests but whats important is keeping this drive throughout the year, which evidently a lot of people cant do.

True that aaa24;

Solid piece of advice I got from a ‘been there’ sort (a good sort at that);

"HSFY is a marathon not a hundred meter sprint."

I laugh because it’s so true.

@ Greenglacier, good to know I haven't completely screwed myself then :D haha
Yeah, I can see quuuiiite a few people giving up after another few weeks. Hell, heaps already have. OK, I'm at Unicol, which might explain why most of the Health-scis I know have already abandoned all hope, but I'm hoping other colleges are the same xD

You lost 0.56% of your grade for the total paper, and you really thought you were completely screwed? >.<

Hi!
Any of you sleep deprived? Just wondering about the workload..
Still have time for hobbies on a daily/weekly basis?

Thanx.

I happen to have some time on my hands... And I'm embarassed to say that if I happen to be slightly sleep deprived every now and then it was probably not because I was studying.

Hi Kikii, yeah, I'm like Cathay, a little sleep-deprived, but usually due to facebook, library closes at 11, then the laptop comes out... :D
And CELS was actually surprisingly good, I was really worried their questions would be as ambiguous as the GLM ones, but really wasn't too bad, they even re-heated some questions from past exams, which is always good.

CELS seemed alright, I found that the questions seemed simpler than the practice test the department put up on bb. PHYSI - seems I'm going to be putting everything I should know on the cheat sheet, lol.

How was CELS guys? And feelings for upcoming PHSI?
CELS was not the utter devastation I had expected, but I can easily see myself losing a few marks...

As for PHSI, judging by some past exam questions, it doesn't look as bad as CELS did (before I sat the actual test, anyway)...

Personally, i found cells pretty easy. I mean the questions were a lot easier than the group study sheets and the practice exam they put up. I was actually annoyed that i spent so much time memorizing so many small details the night before, which proved to be time wasted when the test was really just superficial material.

For physics, I'm actually really keen to get it over and done with as the only questions that seem to get me at the moment are those dreaded word, true-false ones.

Hmmm, wonder how they calculated the score for the GLM - I got 0.01 (out of 5) above some of my friends, lol...
