Now go back to excessively checking PIMS (even when you know it won't have updated since the last time you checked) like a good little health sci.
I already was, don't you worry  . I'm wondering if I can set up my computer to just spam-refresh every 10 seconds until there's something there, then alert me? Would save me the trouble :p

Pretty sure there are auto-refreshers out there (see: macro + a single F5 repeat) but not sure about the alert lol. Unless they email us when results are out?

Make a scripted macro which uses colour detection (the blue page header, perhaps) to determine whether the page has loaded, and once it has, quickly go through judging the colour of every dot in the results field, and if some of them are black (ie results-filled, rather than blank which is grey/black) then play a loud tone, otherwise refresh again.

Heh, I like how I learned enough scripting of macros from my days of playing MMORPGs to be able to come up with this... (Notice how I just said playing games is educational)

haha I'm ashamed to admit that comment made my heart rate pick up and my mouth run a little dry....

I am DYING here
Nah it's just your sympathetic nervous system, you're feeling a little stressed, which is normal.

Anyhow, seeing as it's nearly the end of the working day and we don't have them yet, I'm guessing it's safe to assume we won't get them back today?

Haha sorry, couldn't resist :p
Seriously though, I'm fairly keen for them to hurry up and get the results back to us...
Edit (In order to prevent a double-post): Before talk of 'which papers will be scaled' begins, I'd like to remind people that since HSFY is a competition (ie; you just have to beat the people around you), the only time where scaling will realistically make any difference to your chances of making your chosen professional course is if you're near the grade-cutoff (ie; 70% for med, 65% for dent). So scaling really shouldn't be the top of your list of concerns.

Hi guys. I just found this from

Final Results Notified on PIMS
Monday 4 July 2011
Yes, we do realize that confirmed results are on PIMS by the 4th, thanks. We are, however, waiting for the unconfirmed results, which should come out briefly before then, in fact if you refer to the monster thread you'll find that it's traditionally been around the Thursday afternoon that provision results come out.

we're obviously tense over the results coming out. :P
Or we're robots (in disguise)... well some of us may be anyhow. :P

Also, welcome to posting on the HSFY thread! Disregard the cold detached posts above, we're obviously tense over the results coming out. :P
Oh, welcome, didn't realise that was your first post
(We're not *really* that cold and detached. Or are we... o.O )

Ahhhahahah! I am so glad that CELS is the first out - puts me in a good mood for the rest of them.

Yeah I know right ? If they had like released CHEM or PHSI first I might be too dead to check the others :ill-violated-dead-s... but YAY! Although to be honest CELS is probably going to be my only decent mark...

Well, I'm happy with that :) but when PHSI and CHEM are released, I'll have to have my suicide-knife ready...
