I mean, I knew I didn't ACE Chemistry but I thought I did better than I did... :cry:
I guess at least the minimum requirement was met... which means there's still hope I suppose...
Don't worry, only the super-Gods Cathay and aaa actually seem to have done well in CHEM

Exactly how hideous are you're hideous results though? :cry: Not that hideous I'm sure... MINE, on the other hand... are TRUELY hideous. What I mean is I really need PHSI to be over the minimum requirement... :S

CHEM: 82% HUBS: 89% CELS: 91%, so not too shocking, with the obvious exception of chemistry.
CELS: 97 CHEM: 94 HUBS: 93 ... Waiting on that PHSI to bump the average...

After CHEM, I'd hope so. The slap was because your marks are way better than mine, so don't whinge

I now append this with PHSI: 100
Not quite Cathay-material, but 89% will do me just fine.
So I've been informed that all the HSFY first semester results are now out and confirmed - well done to everyone for surviving this far!
Now, I know a lot of health scis are going to be wondering if their results are good enough, so I thought I'd post a reminder (for members and lurkers) of what the entry standard has been for the last 2 years:
Provided all of your papers have a mark of at least 70%, and as long as your UMAT section 3 mark is not significantly higher than your section 1 or 2 mark, any of the following combinations would have gotten you straight into med (i.e. not off the waiting list) both last year and the year before:
30th percentile UMAT and 94% average
50th percentile UMAT and 92% average
80th percentile UMAT and 89% average
90th percentile UMAT and 87% average
95th percentile UMAT and 86% average
I hope that your mark compares favourably to the above, and if not, remember - there's still UMAT and 2nd semester (including the 8th paper) to go, so it's far from over!

1.4% below GG, lol...
I hear rumours that epi has been "nerfed" so that it's not as much straight-up rape of average marks.
Thing is, in a 'competition' such as HSFY, it really makes no difference if a paper is 'harder', because it's harder for everyone. If anything, it'd give you a chance to stand out from the crowd (or go down in a ball of flames).
