If you are heading down on the 22nd or 23rd, it's highly like your flight will be made up nearly totally of HSFY students so it's very cool![]()
It might also be a bit intimidating? A whole plane packed full of med-hopefuls can really give you a reality check. Make yourself wonder about what you threw yourself into.. ok I'm freaking myself out now.. Glad I'm on the 19th
Turn the awareness of your competition into a motivator, rather than letting it be something that intimidates you![]()
one of my friends is doing the jumpstart physics, here's an extract from an email :
We have worked extremely hard to keep the costs down and for a large book, nearly 500 pages, a price of $38.00 is reasonable. As the previous text for this paper (Urone) was $125.00 this is a significant drop. This book, Biological Physics for PHSI 191 will be available from the week of 2 February from the University Print Shop in the Main Library building.
im so glad this text book is REALLY cheap!
hope this helps![]()
haha it's quite funnyTurn your the awareness of competition into a motivator, rather than letting it be something that intimidates you![]()
That's because he's walked the walk, therefore he can talk the talk.Skyglow1's words are always so sophisticated.
And we poor med-hopers take words from you guys as the laws to live by. But hey, no pressure talkingThat's because he's walked the walk, therefore he can talk the talk.

That's going on my door so i see it every morning.....lmbo

Seems like they split the class into 4 streams A1 A2 B1 B2, the A streams have a lab together and same with the B streams, individual streams have tutorials on their own, and the whole class comes together for lectures. "Independent/Group work" I'm guessing is time off...but maybe we have to be in a certain building or something. Hopefully it means complete time off to go home etc.
The Otago med wiki https://medstudent.wiki.otago.ac.nz/Main_Page has good stuff too*Busy exploring sites*
https://aumsa.wikidot.com/ is Auckland's equivalent.
