Yeah I'm a lot more worried about the Epi midterm that hubs to be honest... like with Epi I feel like I don't even know where to start studying... but the tutes are really useful ae?
What did people think of the second BIOC lab? I'm assuming I probably got spotted :P ... although I'm just so sick and grouchy these days...dragging yourself to lectures and labs when you're head feels like it's going to explode is not fun.
Although every time I cough and stuff in a lecture I can tell it makes all the people around me really uncomfortable and they always shift around awkwardly... sigh. Yes, I know I'm highly infectious right now....

going to your hubs lecture twice because you know you are going to get abducted the second time...

Oh :) and those who do Maori... in today's lecture she mentioned something about being to check your essay on safeassignment or something... how do you check that?

Doodle: Go to the same part of blackboard where you submitted it, then click the safeassign link :)
Pineapple: lol! Didn't recognise you with the bag over your head :p
[OFFTOPIC] Is it just me, or do there seem to be a lot of people floating around the 85-90% first semester average, and a few >95, but few inbetween? I'm actually yet to meet anyone in the low 90's... [/OFFTOPIC]

probably because heaps of people got screwed over by chem. interestingly i havent heard of many in the 97 and over range when there were a couple at my hall last year.

I see you've finally gotten Matt Bevin... glad to see you're enjoying him. If you end up doing med you'll see a LOT more of him as he's the main physiology lecturer for 2nd and 3rd year med (and obviously med 2/3 involves a lot of physiology). Oh, and he's almost guaranteed to cameo in med revue (you can check out one of his past appearances here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkajQwYCr54&feature=channel_video_title)!

With regard to epi, it's really unpredictable. Last year the first terms test had an average of 80%, but the year before fewer than 5% of the class got an A+ in it (and only one person got 100% despite it just being 32 MCQs). It could turn out to be nothing to worry about, but don't let your guard down and choose to ignore particular lectures.

Neither have I... And usually rumours of such people spreads pretty fast in HSFY, but I know of Cath (96%), guy in my hall (yes, shockingly unicol :p ) also 96%, and I heard Bellamy+one of Cath's friends were 96.75%?
(Man those numbers make me feel inadequate lmao).
And greenglacier: Yeah, to me he seems like physiology's take on Fred Dagg, i.e: he's awesome

Shit, I expected Bellamy to be on like 98% or 99% lol; the guy is a legend. Didn't he get the 1st prize for chem191? That's what I've heard, may just be hearsay though.

96.75% (unconfirmed, this is just what I've heard), is hardly terrible :p
Random: Ever since Cathay pointed out to me who Bellamy is, I see that kid *everywhere*.

You know, there's a chance the poor guy reads this thread... does look a tad creepy to have you guys always discussing him ;)

He would've appeared (as the bystander lecturer) in a HUBS Lecture Abduction sketch... Had the guy holding the camera pressed record...

Well, when one does well enough in schol to get into the news, one should be prepared to be discussed by the world ;)

Sorry to interupt this conversation! I'm filling out an accomodation form and it's telling me to write about myself, any tips for the content?

I was going to write like 300ish words, but then it says "maximum 5000", which makes me think I should write WAY more?

Don't be sorry, we're bored anyway
Um, I honestly wouldn't worry too much about it, I doubt they even read it, tbh... There's a thread on Otago halls of residence in this subforum if you want our thoughts on that :)
