Does anyone know what to take in from that cels lecture today? All history which I don't think is examinable but I could be wrong... Lecturer was epic!

It's 'examinable', but the chances of you getting tested on the history parts of that lectures are pretty slim.

Well if lecture objectives are anything to go by; you should be able to "Describe the history of the idea of Natural Selection", but then again I think it has been said that anything on the slide is examinable.

I've looked through the old CELS exams and I have yet to see anything asked RE:history, I don't think they would waste a question on something like that. However, I guess it is all up to how they feel on the day. I won't be doing any study on it though.

Yeh, it's probably wise to prioritise requirements of natural selection over history/modern advances stuff, but imo there wasn't much else that wasn't already taught in high school to learn.

Why is HUBS so boring?
This stuff should be crazy interesting, but for some reason it's putting me to sleep (and I usually focus in lectures).

Anatomy sucks, every bit on information given is just more shit to ROTE learn that night. I hate it too.

Wait till anatomy is over, then we learn about immunology and endocrine! That'll be great fun :)
You say that now... If you think anatomy is rote-learning, try learning hormones, hormone targets, what class each hormone belongs to... Lol

Dammit Froot, stop trying to depress us.

yeah....we'll deal with that stuff then. Right now we can linger on the thought of it being less boring in future. :)

staying awake in the lecture.......... "We're pressed for time"....hm....... ok"...... *push button for next slide*...... *wait 5 seconds* "ok, i think we'll take a minute break."

how the hell can you not fall asleep with the lecturer spending more time taking a pause that actually teaching course material?

HUBS endocrinology has about the most rote learning of the lot!

I'm also afraid that med has a lot of rote learning. It can be a bit more exciting though, and when you apply it to patients that spices things up a bit.

How many times can you do the cels BETs? At the top of the bb page, it says you can do it as many times as you like but then near the bottom, under the heading BET 1 it says 'some tests on bb allow only limited attempts'.
