Bit late notice but is anyone keen for a meet-up tomorrow?

Does anyone know the highest raw score you can get for umat for each section , or alternatively what is the highest score you have heard of?

I know somebody who got raw score of 77 in section 3, I think that's the highest that I've heard so far.....

As far as I know, there isn't a 'limit' to what section scores you can get, but >100 (as gg says) is very rare (like, you probably have to be in the top handful of people in the entire test to manage it). Ask @Calem what his section one score was :p
To be honest, I wouldn't be worrying too much about what the maximum score you can get is. If you get it, then that's awesome, but just accept that it's unlikely, and not going to kill you if you don't.

Section one at 114 was the highest I've heard of, the guy got 98th percentile overall and isn't doing umat again this year

Was actually just curious :)) I always thought S3 would go better for me compared to S1 but man its the other way round @-@

I think I left out the part where I do really badly on both @-@ s2 by far is my best one! Hoping for a decent raw score. Otherwise I might need to think about "other options"

I wouldn't worry too much - many members on MSO would argue that practice tests really have little correlation with actual scores on the day. If people can literally do a single practice paper the night before and get 90%+ scores.. makes you think :P

I think the #1 factor in UMAT success is just not getting worked up before and during the test.

Honestly not feeling pressured because my score wont count anyway! I just want to exceed my own expectations! Hopefully get a decent score in S1 and 2 :) nevermind 3 as long as the other two can pull its weight!

I also decided to visit 3 hostels while i am there! Carrington, Hayward and St Margs though I think I might apply for Carrington Hayward and Aquinas

Oh, didn't notice you're in high school still :P, if you're going for med only then S3 means nothing at all!

Good choice of hostels to visit. Hayward and Carrington are very close, and Aquinas is a decent backup (if you don't mind it being stupidly far away!)

Well I want to do Med, if not Physio is a very good alternative. Was considering rehabilitation medicine because it resembled physio a bit :) But hopefully just out of the will to do well, get decent scores so there could be a little bit more allowance for potential grade slip ups cough cough chem pshi heal.

Though after looking at the pshi stuff and seeing my hsfy friends get 90+'s and trust me I work just as hard as she does. I think I might stand a chance at getting 80-90 in cels hubs and pshi! Really dont know about chem though :/ But Que sera.

No I am not in HS :) I am doing something like a gap year.

I do like my hostel choices, but may not even go to a hostel unless I magically come across hostel money :)) though a lot can happen between now and feb. I dont mind the distance of aquinas though. Its roughly 15 mins walk right? Or was it 30?

Aquinas is a 30 minute walk and with the hill + all your gear from day.. I wouldn't fancy it myself :P

Hence the hourly shuttles :P Yes you are limited by the schedule of the shuttles but they run often enough. You get dropped off and picked up from St Davids too which is convenient.

If the weather isn't great however...
