Moral of the story really is, as long as you make a reasonable attempt to follow the official instructions (which shouldn't be hard - give the official form to a GP and let them sort it out), small details such as whether a GP or nurse signs your form don't matter.

So if a family member was a health professional, they could sign it for you and it would be ok?

Hey guys, in re: immunity status forms - student health DOES do them right? I have no GP in NZ D:

Hi
I am wondering- if you can maintain an average of 90% and over across the 7 best papers then what UMAT percentile should we get in order to get into medicine (under the rural category)?
Thanks

Hey Jim, I'm not 100% sure, but what I do know is that what is required can change (and probably will), so it is best to just aim as high as possible. You can never score too high!!!

Hey guys, anyone know how useful the maor102 textbook is? I just don't want to spend money on textbooks I'm not going to use, already decided on not to get biochem either :P

Lol forget what I said :p

EDIT: To add to what Wongtong has said, I don't think anyone knows the cutoff for rural entry, especially.

Hey there- any idea of what the minimum percentile should be- would 70 be alright?
Look at the link posted by wongtong, that should give you a rough idea of what to expect for the general cutoff. The rural cutoff will be lower, but we can't say by how much.

Oh my sweet jesus flip they got my chemistry mark wrong i'm still in the running asdfgghjkkllhnvrubkgg tr fgnjvdsg!!!!!!1111

My friend who took MAOR102 last year said it was helpful... but maybe he was just trying to sell me his textbook.

Congrats man
What happened?
Did you mark changed in PIMS or did you have a look at your paper and told them that their markings were wrong?

They completely didn't factor in my lab marks, for which I got 14/15. I've never been so happy about a 79% in my life.

Hi

Anyone has any idea how useful/essential the bsns104 (econs) textbook is to do well in the paper? And also, for the the 8th paper fee, when exactly do we have to make the payment by? I only know 31 July is the last day for the full amount refund and deletion of a paper and 13 July is the last day to add a paper but I'm still contemplating on taking it up since it's so costly for internationals (NZ$3k+) and I'm most probably only just aiming for Pharmacy/Physiotherapy (since Dent is too costly and Med is virtually impossible for non-sponsored international students to get into, even if one does exceptionally well for HSFY, according to staff I asked from the Health Science department=/ Kind of unfair but I can understand the reasons behind such a policy).

Yeah I am thinking the same thing methylisothiazolinone
I'm not sure but I know you can borrow the textbook from the library (don't know which one sorry).- but you can borrow for up to 2 hours I think.
What's with the international thing again?
