Ummm I know this sounds silly, but can somebody please tell me where the HEAL grade center is? I have looked everywhere for it, not sure if my laptop is just not displaying it or if I am just being blind and cant see it.

Whoops okay I found it now. I didnt have the "my blackboard grades" module on my homepage

Welcome to MSO candyfloss!!!

hey guys, does anybody know anything about rural entry? So do you need to have been going to a school in a rural area, or just need to have been living in a rural area? Because for pre secondary school, it says that you need to have been living in a rural area, but I don't know whether this means that you need to have been in a school that was classified as 'rural' whatever that means, or it is enough that you have been living in a rural region.

Thanks :)

The New Zealand Government has determined that for the purposes of these clauses a rural area includes those towns in New Zealand with a population of 20,000 or less.

So if you went to a high school in a town with less than 20,000 people, that high school is considered Rural. For the pre-secondary education you need to have lived in a rural area (So RD address I guess?), but the secondary education you can get away with just having the town meet rural specifications.

Yeah, I have checked that but perhaps it is the wording of it, but I'm just not sure whether for pre secondary school you need to have attended a rural school or not. It says for secondary school you need to have attended school in a rural area, but for pre secondary, just that you need to have lived in a rural area. Because I've lived in a rural area all my life, but we didn't have any pre secondary schools, or really any schools for that matter within the vicinity, and the closest one was about 30 minutes away, which was in the city. So yeah, I have emailed the admissions office, and hopefully it gets cleared up soon :)

Hey guys, is there a particular way to working out the number of isozymes given the number of subunits and different genes? cheers :)

Number of subinits+1=number of isozymes.

Number of genes.... they usually give it to you when they say how many subunits the protein contains? (each subunit is produced by a different gene?) :S

Yeah filming campaign videos for student executive... anyone see my mate do gangnam style in the 2pm one?
