So, the new definition of some that it means more than 1( not including it ) but not all , does not apply?

In syllogism Some is inclusive of 1.
With UCAT/Pearson the premise is usually given like some cats are black - the plural makes it more than 1.

Pearson's official DM definitions :

Some	An undetermined number being more than one but less than all.

If I got like a >99.8 atar and I apply to all the unis where would I have a shot? [GWS for WSU by the way]

99.80+ should land you a place offer from Griffith, or at least one from USC.

Assuming 3010 is around 92-93%ile, with 99.80+ you should get an interview from several ATAR+UCAT schools like UNSW UWA, possibly UQ Curtin. Probably not Monash Adelaide JMP. Not sure about WSU due to your VR, I haven't worked out if 680/3010 is enough for GWS.

For place offers I'd say you have about 30-40% chance so need to get a top-third interview score. Good luck.

Iirc last year JMP's invite cutoff was 3040. This year it may change up/down depending on percentile scores and number of applicants vs interview spots, can't say with certainty.

If you are non-Vic previous years indicate you'd need 99.80+ 98%ile.
For Vic students with no SEAS/MG it pivots approximately around 99.0 & 90%ile. Lower ATAR needs higher UCAT and vice versa.

Hey guys this is my friends UCAT scores and he want to know whether making it into interstate is possible. He got 2780 for UCAT and is predicted around a 96-98 ATAR. What are his chances for JCU Med, JCU Dent, UTAS and Griffith Dent.

Interview offer is purely based on ur ucat, then 40% atar 40% interview and 20% ucat

Hey guys , haven't actually sat the UCAT yet, but was wondering if there were any sucessful Curtin Course switcher who have in the past willing to share their UCAT scores and CWAs. Also, if anyone has any info on the ucat I need as a course switcher would be awesome (i.e, is the percentile also 90th or is it a bit lower? Ik curtin weights ATAR/CWA/GPA at 60% and ucat at 40%, and my CWA is at 89.5 for reference)

760VR/3240 you should definitely get JMP & WSU interviews (unless your SJT score is below WSU's unknown threshold).

Unfortunately zero chance for UNSW, place offers have been 99.50+. Also zero Monash chance if you're non-Vic.

Was there a SJT threshold? Do you know based off of last years stats what band should be minimum

Hi all,

Sat the test this morning and got 3270 with the following subtest scores - pretty happy considering big improvement from 2800 last year:
VR: 720
DM: 780
QR: 900
AR: 870
Total: 3270
I'm a gap year student from Qld. Got an ATAR of 99.75. Just wondering where I'd be competitive (including non-UCAT unis) if applying to all unis. Thanks!
