Did my UCAT on the 1st of July! I've been a little nervous to post my results, but I'd love to get some feedback, and see where people think I have a chance of getting an interview.
VR: 670
DM: 750
QR: 780 (a little disappointed, got slightly stressed, and so missed 6 questions... probably could've gotten 850-900)
AR: 860
Total: 3060
SJT: 533
I was a little disappointed with my SJT mark, even though it doesn't count most places, but this was probably due to the fact that I did less than ten hours of preparation (got caught up with assignments for ages, and just didn't have the motivation to do a lot of preparation in the last week...), and none of it was devoted to SJT... doesn't help that by the end of the exam you're pretty tired as well

. If I were to do the UCAT again, I would definitely start preparing earlier than the week before, and DEFINITELY put time into SJT!
The question I'd most like answered is, what are my chances of getting an interview at the different Universities that offer interviews before ATAR results release? Keep in mind that I am a
rural student, and
high school leaver.
I also wanted to ask, why should UCAT results be affected by whether you are a rural student or not? They are mostly dependent on the amount of preparation you put in, and your general cognitive function, and I don't see why that should be affected by your location at all? If someone could explain, or offer some potential reasons for this, I'd be grateful (don't worry, I'm not offended at all, getting a boost from being rural is great, but I'm just interested as to why it's the case).
Thanks for all the information, and I look forward to posting a bit more on MSO!
