Don't take your own earplugs, they provide them. They will make you take them out when you go in.

Hi there, I sat my UCAT on Saturday (09/07) and got:
VR: 680
DM: 670
QR: 880
AR:660
Total: 2890
Ngl I'm not that disappointed with my AR as that is about what I was getting in my mocks and I just couldn't seem to improve. I'm pretty disappointed with VR and DM as I was averaging about 750 to 800 for both.

Damn - a great score nonetheless. Congrats! If you do not mind me asking, do you think it might be the nerves on the day that affect a persons ability?

Don't be too hard on yourself - this is a great score. Only time will tell what the percentiles will be..... but meanwhile, that AR is mad. Do you have any general tips for the ucat or AR? Would love to hear them!!!!
Dental Science - the required ranking for entry to Dental Science (adjusted rank of 99.00) is higher than that of the MD program (adjusted rank of 95.00), and that the minimum required UCAT score for a rank 99.00 dental science applicant is 3743 (including SJT) for the 2022 intake.
So im not making it then :C

amazing score, there are many other undergrad dental schools ava in au, like Griffith, JCU Adelaide, CSU, and Latrobe. Latrobe doesn't do interviews, offer is purely based on ur atar.
It depends on the pool of the applicants. Nothing to lose to have a try.

100%. I think sitting for the first time this year, that was my undoing for VR and DM. There's always next year I guess.

VR: 650
DM: 730
QR: 850
AR: 740
SJT: 639
Total: 2970
I'm from a low socioeconomic metro area, does anyone think these'll net me some interviews? Very hopeful but disappointed because this score was in the lower range of my mocks.

In Thebarton, yes. I can't speak for other centres though.

Are you sure about the 3743 cut off? I have an email from march this year saying that "Thank you for your email. The minimum UCAT for Dentistry this year was 3645. The selection rank was 99.0 which is equal to a GPA of 5.8 from #16 units of UQ study. Please do not hesitate to contact our office if you have further questions."
