Would 3190(768.33 WSU), NSW, GWS, 2nd year uni student, 6.8 GPA be enough for first round UNSW interview invite and WSU?
Also I saw one of my friends use the Quality Assessment services and he got a 6.77 gpa which converted to 99.50 UAC rank. Does this mean it doesn't really matter if you get anywhere between 6.5-7 gpa, as long as its above 6.5? Isn't that unfair to those who get higher gpa's than 6.5

Unfortunately I think you need to have been living there for 5 consecutive years and you’re just about a year short of the cut off. However castle hill is a gws suburb. See below (postcode 2154).

USQ - late No

Its been known historically that 6.5 corresponds to a 99.5 + thats why I found that interesting

2021 UNSW place offers were released on 8th January.
This poster rang to ask why they were rejected. UNSW said because "the Selection rank cutoff was 99.60"

On that same day this non-standard applicant posted up their UNSW offer with ATAR 97.7 & GPA 6.89, so 6.89 must have been worth 99.60+

My theory is though UAC converts a 6.77 to the standard 99.50, UNSW can give it a higher value.
(UAC conversion stops at 99.50 coz no uni course requires more than that, except medicine so UNSW Med does differently to UAC).

But I definitely think your score is more than enough for a January interview invite, given your UCAT is right below Dec interview cutoff and you have a high ATAR. Uni Melb Chancellor is an option if you get 99.90+. If interested in dent, consider La Trobe as well. Your ATAR of 99.7-99.8 + aggregate points by doing Biology or Chemistry + any additional SEAS will be able to meet last year's cutoff of 99.90. Good Luck!

Other Special Considerations: GWS, EAS (H03B, P01A, Disadvantage SES location)
I’ve confirmed with UNSW that multiple EAS points stack so my adjustment rank is either 99.4 or 99.95 depending on the number of extra points I receive (minimum one per category). Will JMP be feasible this year?

Not sure if it’s all accurate and complete but just from memory
UQ- Most likely will get an interview unless there is some wild jump (last year was 3030 for local)

NSW
UNSW- I think there is a around 99.5 ish atar cutoff and the median ucat last year was 3180 but you prob could get that as lowest was only 3050 and I don’t think they have interstate bias
JMP- last year was 3160 so maybe but considering the percentile jumps maybe not (also it’s gone up 60 each year from what I remember)
JPM- I heard that interstate is really hard you need a score of 810-20 last year using the formula which I think is (VRx2 + Total)/6
Notre dame- no idea tbh might have a ok chance

99.90 uni Melbourne csp 99 Full fee
-also if you get like 99.85 Griffith is in qld

A1 adds: Gave you a Like for helping, but I should add that iirc Monash interstate is more like 99.7 + 97th %ile. Lower in one needs the other higher to balance up. (Based on a poster with 99.65 + 98%ile but only got a top-up interview).
