Date completed: 3 July 2021 (feels like so long ago, damn)
Venue: Cliftons, Brisbane
General thoughts on your results: 3240. I'm really happy because my final result ended up being higher than any of my mock scores. VR was very similar to what I was expecting and DM was not great, but QR and AR went surprisingly well.
General comments on your experience: I ended up at a different venue (same day, different time) to the one I was originally supposed to be at because of COVID restrictions. Other than that (and the stress of rescheduling the day before my exam ahh), everything went pretty well. Earplugs were provided and I was lucky to have no technical difficulties, although I know of at least 3 others who had computer problems during their exams.

Both if you have them
I think the highest score we have on here is 830, courtesy of a couple people. The highest VR score in general is probably either 890 or 900, in both 2019 and 2020 there was at least one 900 score, which sounds reasonable given ~14,000 people sit the test.

Looks like 830 is the score to beat. Btw do you know if it was a sen exam or standard?

Only the UK UCAT gives separate stats for standard and UCATSEN sittings unfortunately so I can't answer that, your guess is as good as mine.

Congrats, just want to ask how much atar did you get and what UCAt percentile did u get last year that made you in Griffith/USC
UCAT is not used by Griffith or USC

I just did my UCAT today for the second time. Slight improvement from last year but not enough to be competitive yet again.

I sat it at Pearson Professional Centre Parramatta this time around. Score breakdown from last year and this year are shown below (and for data sake)

UCAT ANZ 2020 (ITIC SYDNEY)
VR: 540
DM: 640
QR: 780
AR: 730
TOTAL: 2690
SJT: 610

UCAT ANZ 2021 (PEARSON PROFESSIONAL CENTRE PARRAMATTA)
VR: 570
DM: 630
QR: 760
AR: 750
TOTAL: 2710
SJT: 599

I did a lot less preparation this year. Feel free to ask any questions. (Provided that it doesn't require me to break the NDA)😃

congrats on finishing the ucat!! how did you find vr compared to last yr?
also did they give u earplugs at the centre?

Hey guys! Completed my UCAT today (29/7/2021) at the Parramatta Pearson Centre. Here are my results (scores from last year in brackets)

VR: 700 (720)
DM: 840 (700)
QR: 830 (830)
AR: 860 (610!!)
SJ: 604 (579)
Total: 3230 (2860)

Overall I'm so super happy with my score and improvement from last year. This year i definitely think I prepared 'smarter' so to speak and really analysed my performance before coming up with specific strategies to target my weak spots.

In the days leading up to the exam I was very nervous and I also have anxiety and panic disorder so I definitely did a lot of breathing exercises, and tried channelling my nerves into excitement. To anyone that struggles with anxiety, you can do this! I did breathing exercises for the full minute between subtests and it definitely helped my performance and focus.

Centre Experience: the ladies at the Parramatta centre were all very nice and there was clear instructions for everything. Maybe wear something that you can roll past your elbows because the jacket I was wearing, couldn't and I was a little embarrassing have to take it off infront of everyone in the waiting room. o.O All our belongings were placed in a locker and we were provided with earplugs, I definitely recommend these as they block out the clicking noise of anyone else sitting the exam in the same room. There were about 2 other people in the same room with me.

If anyone has questions, please feel free to ask. I'm relatively new to the forum so I don't think I can DM anyone (unless I'm mistaken?) but yea this community has helped me so much and I have learned heaps so I'm happy to pay it forward.

I wish you all luck and fulfillment in your endeavours <3

Hey everyone! Just completed my Ucat for the 3rd (!!) time. I did my exam at Pearson Professionals Centre in Parramatta (my experience was pretty much the same as the poster above me). My results were:

VR: 700
DM: 880
QR: 800
AR: 690 (oops)
Total: 3070
SJ: 649

I'm pretty happy with the improvement, considering I got 2540 my first go, and 2810 last year. I'm really hoping I can get an interview within NSW (was hoping for WSU but I don't think my VR is high enough for non-GWS rip). Fingers crossed for JMP!!

P.S. I would definitely recommend taking the earplugs- for some reason I didn't take them last year, and it definitely helped with my concentration this time round :)))
A strong string of steady improvement (+270, +260)! Sit it again next year and expect to get 3320 ;) Congrats!

Your 1st question requires a quite subjective answer. As you can see I did have a slight improvement, however, YMMV.

You will be able to find earplug information on the UCAT ANZ website (but yes they did).

How did you find VR personally? Like how "thick" were the texts for the human eyes?

Also (and this is more personal) is there a particular reason you weren't able to practice more this year?

1. "Thickness" will violate the NDA given that it is a detail about the exam.
2. Was trying something different this year.

Is there an actual NDA you have to sign before sitting the UCAT? That wasn't in place previously.
It's at the start of the exam. It says pretty much exactly the same thing as the UCAT Practice Tests.
