I think I put reinforce distance? Because her reply seemed very forced and fake, which was supported by the man going "I wanted to hang up but I knew that wouldn't do any good" or something.

hmm I said to bolster his confidence, i.e placate him so she can get on with her day? hmm not so sure now

That one wasn't too bad iirc, the number of shapes between white? (or black) dots increased by one each time, and the symbols in between was always in some order, and one symbol was added to the order each time. If you looked at the order past the missing bit you could figure out the missing shapes in between.

I said that he would be feeling nervous, she was reluctant to tell him about the win and then i think there was another question in the stem too

That was one of the ones I completely guessed, was NOT sure of the options past the intersections.

Yeah that was an issue. I found that in all of the shapes, one of the starting dots was outside the shapes formed while the other dot was inside a triangle formed by the intersections. That narrowed it down to one of the answers

you could also count the number of enclosed spaces by the lines, which was also ascending; all of the shapes in the matrix had one black dot in an enclosed space and one not, which was only one of the 3 answer options
