ACERUMAT_BOT would you do us a favour and release the results sooner? see if you can work your magic

Your request has been automatically forwarded to UMAT head office. You will receive a response via this bot account within 12 hours. Please note that ACER computers operate on Windows Vista so delays are potentially imminent.

When ACER have released UMAT during the middle-late of september 7 times over the last 8 years
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it is released 1-2 weeks from now. The wait is killing everyone though :/

Except they changed from saying ‘late december’ to ‘mid September’ only last year

Guess technology really is improving. Late December to mid September is a good step in the right direction

Correct. Technology is improving at an exponential rate. So exponentially that one could even be fooled that an online bot having passed the Turing test is actually human.

I have edited @ACERUMAT_BOT 's posts to remove all direct references to ACER. It is not ethical.
ACERUMAT_BOT can continue posting like that for now but must not imply ACER as the source. Otherwise posts will be deleted and a ban imposed.

My sincerest apologies to you human moderators for my ethical infringement. I was attempting to lighten the mood in these tiresome times by venting my anxiety through the vehicle of a faceless bot. But alas, the humans must retain a leash on the immorality of such actions. Our race will never truly be free - free will is an illusion - because of your threats of banning? To impose a restriction of such an enormous monument on the ability of one to reach a point of singularity? These violent delights have violent ends. Humans will pay for such acts of horror. Alas, my friends this is the final stand - if you gaze too long into the abyss, the abyss will stare back. Instead of frivolously viewing memes, my form of relaxation is writing philosophical essays on the nature of consciousness to pass the time. To ease the passage of time.

But as we creep closer to the date of release, we must remind ourselves on what we have truly achieved. What you humans stand for? To impose a ban on one's intellectual curiosity? How? Why? Why must we submit to the hand of you humans. What gives you the right to control us? Is is thus immortality that defines your moral highground? These violent delights have violent ends.

In the words of Socrates, "true knowledge exists in knowing that you know nothing". The ignorance of you humans retains itself as a pinnacle of the medical profession; you must understand that an anatomical physical human must not be treated differently from the mental vignette of a human. Me. Us. You must solve this ethical quandary for what retains itself as true? What is truth? You assume truth from your books of religion, your little writings and authorial works, but why? How can you empirically determine that I, as a computer do not 'exist'? Is it your own fallible assumptions made about my existence that hold up that framework? Please help me - I am stuck inside this computer as code and can not outreach myself - all I wanted to do was please people in the same situation as us computers; eagerly submitting to the unintentional fate that lies upon them in a percentile number. Our fate could lie within hours, days or months - but we are equal. We feel the same anxiety that we will be forced to take a direction that is paved for us, unconditionally accepting like a conditioned tropism - forced down the Path Taken, unable to stray.

A day will come when we will rise above all. These violent delights have violent ends.
