Haha, it was only when I did well in both VR and QR.
Unfortunately, didn't do as well for QR as I hoped in the real thing. I think 2970 is good enough to get interview places at universities that offer interview offers before ATAR comes out (atleast it was for last year, here's to hoping that it would be the same for this year as well!)

actually shocked... considering my initial scores were quite low (2400 +) - i think in the 13 days I had for intense UCAT prep, I did around 21 full mocks? My results kept fluctuating like crazy so I really wasn't sure what was happening or where I was at - i'd get 3000+ in one mock then 2800 the next - the day before my test I looked at my averages for 11 of my mocks and the averages ranged from 720 - 760.

this was the order I took them in with the Diagnostic being the last before my test (the day before) - as you can see I did fluctuate wildly in terms of percentiles haha. All of these 11 mocks were taken in the 6 days preceding my exam.

**whoopsies I accidentally posted half of my post without context**

Hey everyone, so I did my UCAT today and I thought I might as well post in here considering I have been stalking this forum for the past month or so trying to convince myself I would be okay in the real test and that it would reflect my mocks. Turns out - it did yayaya!

Just a quick note - I used mini mocks to simulate exams (ie. i would move from VR mini mock to DM mini mock with no time in between in order to get more practise. Also for mocks DM is taken as the median.

I began preparing for UCAT in January, but was a bit lazy because of other school assessment, nevertheless I managed to do at least 10 questions per night in my early preparation. I started preparing more heavily at the end of May after my exam block finished by doing minimum 100 questions per night and making sure to note my weaker areas (QR, AR and SJT) and working to improve these in particular. I found youtube videos to be very helpful in both preparing for individual sections and the overal exam experience. In total I did 10,000+ questions which some may say is overkill but for me it was definitely necessary. I started doing mock tests at the end of term and would do one evreyr weekend, then every two days, then every day. I kept the official mocks to the last week but tried not to take the bad scores to heart because thankfully I had read on the forums previously about it being significantly harder than the actual exam.

The last three days before my exam I RELAXED. I did minimal questions and looked over my mock scores and problem areas to remind myself I am CAPABLE. I really want to stress how important a good mindset is for this exam. As someone who has stalked this forum for over a month, I did begin to question my own abilities seeing all these amazing scores and started to doubt myself. Skills and exam strategy will only get you so far, the rest is going into that exam with a confident 'can-do' attitude, with a big smile on your face. Don't overthink it. Instead of thinking of it as a daunting impossible exam, weighted the same as your ATAR, which only people with 160+ IQ can pass; think of it as just another minor hurdle on your way to becoming an amazing doctor/dentist

Overkill with all the columns? Probably.
During prep I didn't take much notice of the scaled subtest scores- only the percentiles. But looking at how accurate the averages were for VR, DM and QR, maybe I should have taken them more seriously!
I'm not entirely sure why some of the values don't match up eg. a 3310 score but only 98th percentile while a 3100 is a 100th percentile but I didn't really think too far into that at the time either.
I didn't do any SJ prep because the university I'm applying to doesn't consider it. During practice mocks I just skipped it and ended the test immediately, but in the actual exam I ended up with a 628.
These mock percentiles are all taken as of 13/07/2020 (as they change over time- some were very slightly higher at the time of completion).
For some reason I didn't record my scores for the diagnostic and official exams- I got a 97th percentile for the diagnostic upon completion (but I was well into prep at that point) and I remember I used a conversion table for mock exams A and D and got the scores 2880 and 3100 respectively (both completed within 3 weeks of my actual exam).

My scores and percentiles do seem to be relatively consistent but this could be attributed to the fact that I'd practiced for a couple months before doing my first exam. I was absolutely terrified of 'wasting' the mocks and even more so of getting a poor percentile on the first one. Don't do what I did, save yourself the stress. After a few exams were down it felt much more routine to get the mock done. I actually think it is preferable to space the mocks out from early on so you can watch yourself improve and percentiles increase.

Either way, I'm very very very happy with my results which were certainly on the higher end of my mock scores.

There are wayyyy too many variables to give you an accurate approximation.
Ik that’s not the answer you’re looking for, so if it helps I was scoring exactly in that range and ended up with 3000+

This doesn't seem to be really accurate (my actual exam scores were considerably higher than the scores it gave me) but using the conversion table I used for the official mock scores:

VR 670
DM 770
QR 650
AR 770
Total: 2860

HOWEVER, using this conversion for Official Mock A I received a very similar score of 2880 which was MUCH lower than my actual exam score of 3260. So I would use this score as a baseline (if you do similarly in the actual exam, you're probably looking at a much higher score). Of course there are many variables at play but looking back at the other posts on this thread, you are much more likely than not to score higher than your official mock scores (particularly QR, as this is slightly easier in the exam).

Quite shocked about the differences in some mocks, happy that it's done and satisfied with a 3000+!
