This is really impossible to answer - what is a “solid” interview and how have you reached that conclusion? You have a good ATAR/UCAT combo so I’m sure you’re in with a shot depending on what your interview was scored at. Good luck

ahaha, I guess solid is very ambiguous. I thought it was a decent interview, maybe 60%ile+ish. Thanks for the response

Hey A1! With the changes in UNSW’s selection for interview, what would you rate my chances for an offer as? I have an ATAR of 99.50 and 99th percentile in the UCAT. Thanks!

I don't think the selection changes affect the chances much if UNSW still selects the intended number of interviewees. What does affect is if this year's interviewees *generally* have higher ATAR/UCAT than before. Like said before your offer chances are around 60-70%, but don't rest on it because it means there's still 30-40% chance of not getting an offer.

So my actual ATAR was way better than expected when converted from an OP. Are you able to advise which Universities I now have a shot at? So far I've had an interview at JCU and that's it. Thanks in advance

Definitely Griffith and possibly Flinders (both provisional), possibly UTAS (who knows, UCAT is a ? there this year), and Bond.

Curtin weights ATAR higher than UCAT so if you applied there you might (should?) get an interview too, I would think.

Specific Question: What is my likelihood of making it into Monash? I am applying through the DRL as a rural candidate

What are my chances at gaining a spot at unsw or monash with a 99.55 atar and 95 ucat? I'm non-rural, live in nsw and no bonus points (at least idts).

Hi,

I am a rural applicant, however my UCAT percentile of around 73% is quite low. I feel i did well in the interview at Adelaide but that's quite hard to gauge, can anyone let me know my chance to get into Adelaide or Flinders or to get an interview with Monash soon ?

You’ll definitely a place offer at Flinders. Adelaide depends on your interview performance so it’s impossible to say, but you have a strong ATAR/UCAT combo so you’re in a good position. I’d think a Monash interview is highly likely but I’d have to check past data before making you any guarantees.

There have been rural applicants getting Adelaide offers with 50%ile and lower ATAR than yours so it's definitely a possibility for you although it's difficult to estimate the chances. I don't know how Flinders treats rural applicants but it looks very promising with 99.80 (raw I assume?).

Did you apply for/through Monash DRL? If you did I don't understand why you haven't been given an invite.

Afaik Monash interviews DRL applicants in the same round for Vic students, and invites were sent out two days ago.

I have been looking out for the invites but haven't received them, however we just received our ATARs yesterday

Give Monash a call and check if they’ve all been sent out (and tell them your scores/rurality/DRL too). Report back on MSO with what they tell you please :)

I called Monash and they advised me that yes interviews were rolled out 2 days ago, but they will continue to send out invites for the remainder of the week, so they asked me to call again by the end of the week if i hadnt heard anything. So apparently, they havent finished sending out invites...

ATAR: 97.55, UCAT: 2990 (96%). How competitive are my chances for UQ in the rural stream? I qualify for two bonus points for maths and two for being rural. If whatever reason I do not qualify for RAS I will only have two bonus points, how competitive will my chances be in the general stream? Thanks in advance
