Your UCAT is well above UTas' published 50th percentile cutoff. However, since UTas ranks applicants based off ATAR alone (once they're above the UCAT threshold, as you are), your ATAR of 99.35 might be a little on the low side - we suspect the ATAR cutoff will be around the mid to high 99s. I wouldn't lose hope if I were you, though, since this is the first year that UTas is using these selection criteria and nobody is 100% sure of how things will turn out.

Is there any other unis apart from jcu that I have a strong chance for with this atar of 99.35 and UCAT of 2700.

Flinders is also an option that I am considering looking at their selection criteria.

It's a 79%ile for the 2700 UCAT according to the calc on the website

Unfortunately with an 80%ile UCAT Flinders has historically required a near perfect if not perfect ATAR to gain admission into their MD course (99.90-99.95). James Kim do you qualify for any SEAS/rural bonuses by any chance?

Tbh I think you already have a good idea that you have excellent scores and your interview doesn't have to be amazing to get a spot. Since interviews are over now, it isn't worth stressing over the results, so just keep busy for the next few weeks and just keep hopeful. No need to be stressing with your results

Yeah, we had a regular here a couple of years ago with a similar combo to yours that only ended up with non-interview Uni offers and self-concluded they mustn’t interview well!! It’s definitely a good idea to remain focused and be well prepared for the interview component because it’s never a sure thing until you have that email!

If you’ve already had your interview, there’s not much good to come out of asking your chances at various schools (to which it’s very difficult to give an accurate answer anyway). If you landed an interview then you’re in with a shot. Try and focus on something else to keep you preoccupied in the meantime - the wait for offers is almost over.

Assuming no bonus points, rural status, EAS, etc, then your ATAR rules you out of UWA, UQ, Griffith, Flinders, UNSW, probably Monash (unless you’re Victorian), probably UTAS, USyd, and UMelb.

This would leave you with possible interest from JMP, WSU, UAdel, Bond, and Curtin.

JCU could go either way depending on your written application.

Have you applied to all of these courses already? You should know whether or not you landed an interview for almost all of them by now, so asking for chances now is a little late!

It much depends on whether Curtin gives you any ATAR adjustment for financial hardship (school-based adjustment is n/a to non-WA schools). If the mentioned 99.90 is specifically from Curtin I'd say you will get an interview with about 20-30% offer chance. Otherwise you will need a near top if you even get an interview.

I'd say definitely no to Griffith (ATAR) and UQ (UCAT). Probably no to Monash (UCAT). Possibly to UWA and Curtin, but your UCAT might not be enough, someone else might be able to weigh in.
