Looks like my 115 isn't enough for WSU. I could re-apply to JMP and see how things go I suppose.

Thats a decent UMAT but unfortunately a bit low for an interview from any university. Have you considered JCU and Bond as other options ( no Umat ) ?

Any chance at unsw for an interivew?

This is pretty close but I think you just miss out on an interview. I believe the cutoff for UNSW for an ATAR equivalent of above 99.5 is around 172 a few years ago, and cutoffs have only gone one direction since (upwards).

As it stands, I think you are aware of what your likelihood of getting into medicine or dentistry is this year, so I'll instead point you in the direction of this thread:
[Undergrad] - UMAT Forum: Table of Contents

You might want to find the tab with "Back Up Plan Discussions" and "Oer's Advice to all" in it. Those have very practical information on what to do and how to approach things.

Bear in mind that this isn't necessarily the end of the road in terms of getting into medicine - just over half of the places in medical school are graduate entry only, and I know people who had ATARs of under 70, non-rural non-ATSI, who have gained entry through this pathway.

Those are probably your best shot at the moment, but there is always the possibility of JCU if your application is good.

Any chances anywhere?

You should get a Curtin interview (based on GPA and UMAT)

You should get a Curtin interview (based on GPA and UMAT)

Curtin does not accept non-standard applicants without a full degree who are applying with a tertiary record from another university.

Yes they do, I go to Curtin and we have people who were one year into their degree before they transferred.

EDIT: My bad just checked with one of them, they were previously at Curtin.

As it stands, James Cook is likely your only shot at it this year.

Interesting, there is some record on here of Curtin University emailing an applicant back with the information I have just quoted. However, if it is as you say, then certainly it can't hurt to apply.

Edit: edit read. Seems that what I wrote stands, thanks!

Question/s: Disappointed with myself on s2, do I have any chance for Monash interview?

Unfortunately the overall score is probably a bit on the low side for an interview with Monash if I recall correctly, although I believe you might just squeeze in as a Victorian applicant.

As it stands, James Cook is likely your only shot at it this year.

Could also apply to Bond, and if you could push your expected ATAR a little higher from 99.50 then Griffiths would be on the cards as well.

So last year as a school lever I got 57 percentile. This year
SI: 59
SII: 48
SIII: 64
Overall: 171 (83 percentile)

I am sooooo happy with my improvement in one year but at the same time I am super bummed about just missing 50 in S2 as I basically have ) chances at an interview anywhere now :( oh well, try again next year
