JPM WSU/CSU JPM: Questions and Discussion

Hey! I'm interested in joining the chat. Not sure how to PM on here though.
Hi!! I just made the discord now: Join the WSU Medicine Prep Discord Server!

Anyone else interested in joining please do!!

Hey, I'm interested as well! Can't PM though :(
Hi!! Here you are :)

Hey guys I was wondeirng if i had book an afternoon slot (2-4:15) would this be not ideal as the interviewer would be more tired than like an earlier slot?

Is anyone else having trouble getting onto the interview portal? I keep getting an error message that it's an invalid UCAT number... I've tried the last 7 digits, 8 digits, and the whole ANZ_______. I've emailed them alr and I'm waiting on a reply but just wondering if any one else has experienced the same thing?

few things to consider here - 1. interviewers may change in between the breaks 2. interviewers may change between days - I can confirm 2. is true because my friend who got in last year confirmed it. Now the reason why 2. is relevant is if you pick the morning one on one of the first few days and there's a new interviewer they don't really have anything to compare it to except their own standards which might not be favourable. Also who the hell is actually paying attention at 9 in the morning.

What you are saying is definitely a possibility aswell + they just had lunch so might be lethargic - but on the otherhand if they just had lunch they might be in a good mood.

Basically there's too many factors to consider so pick the time that is most suitable for you imo

I DIDN'T DO IT EITHER

I JUST REALISED IT CLOSED I WANT TO CRY

would it be a bad look for me to request a late submission???

or should we give up xx
I don't think you should give up, they will use that part of the MMI to get the community info from you. If I'm remembering last years interview correctly they also ask other questions in that station as well.

Stay strong!

SAME! I didn't realise that the last date was 10th of November, because in the email it says to complete it before the interview, so I assumed we have time till the interview. I just opened it now to see the 10th of November! I am so stressed, would it even be considered if I was to send it in now? Is it worth emailing them and saying how I just read the email and thought I had and request if I can submit it now or something?

Can't really hurt to try I guess, I think I read that there was a lot of people who didn't submit the questionnaire so they may be in the same boat.

when getting an interview invitation for wsu MD, do they only take ucat into consideration? (just received one yet my ucat was APPALLING). do they look at year 11/12 results and predict my atar?

A1 adds: Please post your WSU interview invite in the Data Collection thread so we know how to explain

FYI i called the admissions office a few days ago (when i realised lol) and it's totally fine!

no, you cannot submit a late MAQ, but you can just write answers to the two questions, memorise them, and provide them in your interview.

they also told me if you didn't submit the MAQ, they'd make sure you weren't put at a disadvantage, as a "huge bunch" didn't do it this year.

don't worry about it - just memorise your answers and focus on your prep!!

Hey, do you mind telling us what the 2 questions were? I didn't have chance to look at them (was overseas with limited access to internet), and I haven't received an email reply from them...

Statement 2: Explain ways in which you connect with the community you described in statement 1.
