JPM WSU/CSU JPM: UCAT Section Weighting Discussion and Questions

Interstate cutoff for rural was higher, its cause hey have an in state quote for interviews this year, 20% interstate and 80% intrastate
Hey just wonder do you know whether they still have this rule this year? Did they put this rule explicitly on their website previously in 2019?

I know of this rule and thought it was applicable to non-rural. Don't know if it was/is applicable to rural also.

Iirc it was published on both WSU & CSU websites - 50% GWS, 30% NSW, 20% interstate. The first two combine to 80% as @Scrivo mentioned.

What would be the new weighted formula for WSU's UCAT threshold this year as AR has been removed?

> Non-standard Medicine Entry

It's likely to be 0.5xVR + 0.25xDM + 0.25QR (i.e. VR counts twice as much)
or 0.6xVR + 0.2xDM + 0.2xQR (VR 3 times as much).

Myself I think the latter is more likely since VR has counted 3 times to date.

Do you think CSU will do same calculation as WSU?

___________
A1 replies: Since WSU and CSU are a joint program I'm fairly sure CSU uses the same weighting formula.
