Hey guys

Just wondering if some med students could clarify the arrangement of interview room? I know that there are two interviewers, but will there be a table between interviewer/interviewee?

Its nice to know these little nitty gritty details lol

@ shiv.

In my own experience, the setting involved two interviewers (labelled 1 and 2) sitting on either side of a table facing me:

The rooms arent particularly big, and in fact, vary in size i believe. perhaps someone else can add their layout too.

Good luck for all your interviews, everyone !

Cool picture - exams must be over right, for you to have that kind of time !!!! ;-)))

So no one heard anymore today? FWIW I got all my last semester grades today. So I guess interview offers can't be far away? Be sure to post when you get one & let us know!

OK my understanding is that interview decisions were being made yesterday (Monday) due to a delay is POPLHLTH 102 results. So hopefully the interview letters will be sent today (Tuesday). Good luck.

Awesome diagram nautica!

Eeek so letters could be out any time soon? Good luck everyone! I'm just dying to know either way....going a little crazy with all the waiting!!!

So are you saying they definitely don't email interview offers - even if you checked email as your preferred method of contact? If so, I'll quit checking :$

I'm a graduate and still waiting for my grade for my honours dissertation, which is worth 30 credits (double course)....

What a pain.... it seems it's been a long wait this time round.... must be coming in the next couple of days... I did wonder whether grad interviews happen AFTER undergrad, only because like you, I know a few grad applicants still waiting on grades. That said, I guess just because you're waiting for them to be published doesn't necessarily mean they aren't available internally - ie; to the admissions dept?

I'm applying as a grad too, and my application is still "pending" because I need to supply an updated transcript. I've applied to get one from Otago, but I don't imagine I'll be able to get this to the admissions people before a couple of days. I rang Auck Uni and they said they understand, email to say it is coming, and to just get it in when I can. So I guess grad interviews will be later?

Interview offers will be going out from today, and will be an ongoing process till the start of interviews next Monday. Offers will be made via email and ordinary snail mail. Pays to check your email regularly over the next couple of days, as some previously mentioned experiences on this thread suggest that offers sent via post showed up after the interview proper. Not to sure which email address offers will go to, but would suggest student email or email address put down on MH03 form.

wow it's been a long time since i've posted here. siftyboy is correct.

i received mine through email first in the university webmail if i remember correctly, but it could be my personal one listed for uni since back then there wasn't that "all university communication will be done via webmail" rule.

i only received my proper mail on the afternoon after i've already had my interview.

good luck too you all!

Anyone know if rejections are also sent via email and snail mail? Or snail mail only?

I know in the past, if you miss out on making the interview cut you get a snail mail (only) as or just after most interview offers have come out ie; this week.

I know quite a few people, like me, did MAORI130G as their GenEd and results for that haven't come out yet - so how can they make interview offers yet?

Hopefully the results come out soon!

I'm waiting for an interview offer too. I'm getting really anxious having to wait! lol I don't live in Auckland either, so I'd have to arrange plane tickets at the last minute once I find out my time, if I get an interview.

Good luck to everyone :)

If they are actually planning to send out offers already then it sounds like they are more organised for you guys.

@emerald - it's a continuous process I believe, people get their interview offers on different days apparently, i.e. the people with later interview gets their letter later.

My interview offer a few years ago was emailed to me on a thursday morning for a friday afternoon slot. my friend who had a monday afternoon slot got hers emailed to her on the saturday.
