ok thanks for clearing that upThat's not a rumour I've heard and I'm 99% sure that rras and mapas seats go to general entry if they're not used. As far as I'm aware, mapas doesn't typically use all its allocated seats, but I'd imagine rras does.

mainly stupid ones about the minimum gpa requirements etcOoh what are some of those rumours???![]()
If they can't fill the seats with suitable applicants then they can't fill them. They won't be intentionally trying to under-fill.Seems mighty strange that MAPAS seats aren't always taken up because I've heard from certain faculty members that there will be an increase in placements for medicine via the MAPAS quota.

4) Roger Booth: *Too busy singing to speak
On a lighter note: Words most likely to be said by a lecturer:
1) Carolyn Barrett: "Ok?"
2) Peter Riordan: "Everything in those pages is examinable"
3) Larry Chamley: "Being a doctor is pointless because you'll never get in anyway (Paraphrase)"

5) Denis Loiselle: "Aboot"
6) Cather Simpson: "Secund Squared"

Depends what paper, at auckland uni, most science papers are a 90% A+, 85% A and so on.......... some papers like 1st year chem is 85% A+, each paper sets their own grade boundary and they occasionally shift it to compensate for years where the paper was too easy/hardHey,
What kind of % do you need in a paper to get A-, A, A+ etc.
thanks
