Yeah, sounds like the interview offers won't come out until a couple of days before the interview. How is everyone preparing (if at all)?

Interviews start on Monday December 7th. You will be notified 2-3 days before your interview. Yes it will be on very short notice. Check your emails everyday otherwise you may miss out. This is because you may receive your letter of invitation (the hard copy) late by mail. Mine arrived 1 day after my interview. Good luck to all candidates, I may see some of you there on Monday.

But everyone gets emailed/invited at the same time right?

for gods sake what the hell is taking them so long to mark our papers, it's so irritating waiting on them

Nope. The emails don't all come out at once. They come out 2-3 days before, or in my case, 1 day before your own interview date. So don't be worried if you don't get an email the first time around.

umm you do realise there are like 1200 papers to mark for medsci? I marked last year and it was quite tedious marking 1200 short answer questions

well... we just got the official "screw you" letter for medsci, surprising how 25% of the class failed the paper tho

Hhmmm...even with 4 marks added there is only 8.4% who got A+. Apparently we really screwed it up or it was a really hard exam.
Anyways i thought it weird that the people who experienced the fire alarm can get extra consideration if our marks are at border line, coz we got very slightly better marks, so shouldn't be the other way around:blink:. But hey I'm not complaining since i wouldn't be disadvantaged lol

Yeah.... Leafie.... the fact that Quilter said that "the people who experienced the fire alarm were slightly advantaged by half a mark" and the fact he said if you were borderline and in the situation of the fire alarm that you would be given special consideration (WTF is wrong with them it should be the other way around)... Quilter in my opinion has lost my respect -_- but oh well he could just as well have said screw you to me... sigh....

naaaa, you cant lose respect for that man that easily. when i think about it, getting an A rathar than an A+ or analogous situations wouldnt probably make or break your chances, i think at this point we should be worrying bout the interviews a heck of a lot more than medsci.

and PHYSICS IS OUT!
