on the bright side; it appears pretty much everyone hated the test

lol everyone hating the test won't really change our marks. I just have a question from the pophlth test2.
Do you know the one where it asks which one is the BEST midstream intervention and gives u 5 options, out of which only 2 seem right.

The 2 were 5+ a day and changing menu in a tuck shop. Thinking about it, wouldn't both of them be considered midstream. I swear I erased that answer atleast 5 to 6 times.

I put the tuckshop one as the answer, as it is clearly not downstream or upstream, while the 5+ a day can be considered upstream. But don't know ay...

Chem was horrible. Cause we didn't get tested on all of kinetics in the first test, they added that to this one, plus a full test 2. Theres only so much you can do in one hour

yea I chose that one as well, but one of my friends was asking why the 5+ a day would not be considered midstream and I really couldn't answer him. Hopefully Dan chose the answer from the way we thought about it.

my reasoning was that the tuckshop one was the one only one that wasn't implemented by the government (i.e. the five plus a day is a govt initiative)
so it fit best with midstream, anyway we'll probably know in a couple of hours.

On another topic, does anybody know approximately how many people a year manage to get 9 GPAs?

yea, i picked tuck shop too

anyhow, that chem test was absolutely horrible
i got a A+ for the first test, and this one i got a B-
and to add to that, i forgot to do my best choice and lost 0.5%

now il need like 93+ for the final exam for an A+

hope the pop health result is a lift

dunno about overall, but on the pop health website, its got that graph on no. of people with certain grades
just below 40 got A+ for pop health
so i'd say around 30 with GPA of 9

Agreed chem was a shocker. I found previous years ones pretty good but that was just HARD. So not suprised with my average mark!

yeah when's poplhlth supposed to be out? think i read on here it was gona be today...but i havent been to poplhlth lectures in like a week so idn if dennnnnnnnnnis has said anything

lol same here

i find it quite stupid how chem a handwritten paper comes out way faster than pop health. it seems like pop health guys take the time writing you that stupid email giving you tips like
"study more on confounding"

I couldnt agree more! I couldnt understand how our chem test1 was marked by people in less than two days and poplhlth test was marked by a computer in like weeks! Just doesnt make sense. Computers must plan on taking over the world slowly. Ahhh yes that email made me laugh. Had my chem lab today and there were some seriously tired looking tutors though i must say!!

the exams are so close, im starting to shiver just from the thought of them. I am really scared about my pophlth right now, we can only lose like 6 to 7 marks to get an A+ for the exam, it just seems almost impossible. Are there any tips for pophlth exam that could may be help us out. what did you guys do to get those great marks? Anything could help right now.

there are no tips. I hope you are good at regurgitating facts which unfortuantely is what pop health is >.>;

hmm. I have started on the past papers, are there any suggested solutions or anything to check if what we have been answering will get us the marks.
