Bond Med 2018 Discussion

That's interesting! I like how Bond structure it. Definitely bias in my opinion but yes, I approve.

#dropthemic

Thank you!! :)
Yeah if it helps you at all, I have been trying every year for five years and this is the first time I have made it to an interview :D worth all the life experiences for sure. I feel much better about making it to this stage now.

You are awesome!!!!

Question for anyone that already has a blue card and is filling out the 'Link an applicant/cardholder to this organisation' form as part of the interview documents: Is it correct that we do NOT have to pay the $87.20 fee in part H because we won't be working with kids in a paid capacity?

Are you talking about the Working with Vulnerable People (Children and Adolescents) card, or it is it called something else in Qld? If so, here at UTAS we just had to add Uni of Tasmania to the list, no fee payable if you already had an in date card (regardless of volunteer/employment capacity). For those getting a new card, they just needed to apply for one on the basis of volunteering, which I think had a minimal charge.

Ok thanks for the input. Yeah its the same, just called 'blue card' here in QLD. Turns out I didnt read the form well enough. We definitely do NOT have to pay the fee because we are staying on the volunteer (V) card and not upgrading to the Paid (P) card.

Hey guys! do you think the status on qtac will change soon? I've just read through some previous forums and it usually comes out earlier.. soo nervous

Me too!! I've heard from another student that offers start coming out few days before 16th. But don't know if this is trust worthy info !?!? Good luck to those who are yet to sit the interview!!!

Yes in 2017 my QTAC status changed around 10 hrs prior to my offical email offer being made.

I'm nervous, my interview is today!
Where are you from? I'm guessing Perth?
Just wondering because they said that the interviews were organised in relation to your postcode.
So I'm thinking that the further you are from Bond, the later your interview is!

I was super nervous too. Interesting to hear about the QTAC coming early... Gosh I wish and hope for everyone that it all happens <3
How many people from Adelaide have there been? I'm also one, would be interesting to have a few of us up there (one day if not this year!)

PS: If we got in this year, who is keen to make medical rap videos with me? :D
