Bond Bond Medicine: General Discussion

"May be eligible to be considered" Such strong modality, incredibly convincing!
$42,340 for "May be eligible to be considered" - it would honestly make more financial sense running that money through the poker machines lol, at least you would get discounted parma's as a 'pokie high roller' at most RSLs lol

**mso does not condone gambling, but does condone RSL chicken parmas

Parma costs you $17 bucks at the UQ student bar... For $42k thats one a day for 353 days out of the year (family commitments might get in the way of heading to the bar) for the entire 7 years of undergrad and post grad plus a little bit left for gamsat and stationary... need I say more?

Hi.
I was wondering if there was a recording for the Medical Program 2022 webinar that was held? I can't seem to find it.

Hi All,

In my utter stupidity, I failed to also list the September intake as a preference. Do you believe QTAC / Bond would preference those who only listed the May intake over those who have listed September as their second preference?

No, Bond will give applicants offers based on their ranking/Performance however what this does mean is that say you were eligible for a September seat but not May you would not get an offer

Just putting in an update - spoke to QTAC this morning to get my rank (graduate applicant). They said I have a 98, where Bond says 96 to be considered and 98 to get an invite. I’ll update on Friday as to whether this is the case, as I missed out last year (with slightly lower rank)
Interesting! I wasn't aware QTAC could disclose this information (coming from experience with UAC in NSW). I called this afternoon and they mentioned the cut-off for graduate entry is 98 😬 so high!!

Best of luck to all

I called them today as well and they said they were accepting people as low as a 96 with some considerations made to people as low as 94
is this graduate entry? I talked to QTAC today and they said the cutoff is totally dependent on the pool of applicants. 98 is what Bond prefer but the Uni itself doesn't know how many people are applying and the distribution of the scores
